Lin Manuel Miranda And Jonathan Groff Novels & Stories

I said, testing how her name danced on my tongue. Lorenzo stared at me for a brief second before lowering his gun. He exchanged looks with Jason, who backed away. As soon as his eyes met mine, I remembered what he was supposed to do yesterday. His expression was dark. I wanted to kick myself for being a terrible sister and not being in my right mind to offer silent support when he returned from his meeting with MomBitch. My heartache was no excuse for ignoring him. "So... you..." "Miranda got shot," he said abruptly. "I didn't fuck Manuela, and you disappeared. FOR. EIGHT. HOURS."

It seemed her children were only adding to her troubles. … Tina had been to Miranda's apartment before, so she drove straight there, guided by her phone's navigation history. Her anger grew with every mile. By the time she arrived, she had already mapped out how she would confront Miranda. But as she got out of the car, she saw Miranda laughing and talking with a man as they entered the building together. Tina gasped when she recognized the man as Paul Jefferson, a professor from Bedford College. He was one of the interviewers from the second-round interview.

Miranda snipped as she hopped up on the tiled countertop that made up the Luna's kitchen, swiping a pear out of a wooden fruit bowl. She ate in messy bites, juice dripping down her toned arms. "I wasn't asking a whole bunch of questions; I just knew that he–" she pointed at the still gagged and bound Pelham, "that little spit of a man was from those shifty group of Northerners that blew through Granby and beat the shit outta Linus and his father." Pelham shook his head in his bonds, moaning through the strip of cotton that was his gag. "Miranda, we talked about this, love," Luna Kathrine was rubbing at her temples with her eyes closed.

Craig added fiercely. Mira looked at me and her eyes were starting to water. Her face was becoming red. And her hands were shaking. “I do not need to remind you that you are under oath. Did you or did you not threaten to deal with my client two days ago when we visited your office?”. “Answer the questions!” Craig lashed out on Mira. “Yes!” She broke down in tears. “Yes I married him, yes I returned back and changed my identity, yes I was involved with his brother……I ..”.

As she sat at the bar, Mira ordered a scotch. The bartender replied, "Coming right up." Mira's mind was preoccupied with her mate's images. She came here to take a break from worrying about it. The more she tried not to think about it, the more images of him began to arise in her mind. With a shake of her head, she concentrated on her genuine reason for visiting the nightclub. Jonathan Grover, the establishment's proprietor, was a human with supernatural knowledge and one of the Black Market's primary contacts.

“BECAUSE YOU’RE CRAZY.” “YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD COVER IT UP.” “YOU'RE PSYCHO. OF COURSE, JASON, SANDRA AND MIRA WILL BR SCARED OF SAYING SOMETHING” My PA suddenly taps furiously at her phone before shoving the screen toward me. I narrow my eyes at the headline. JASON FORD AND MIRA DENVERS FINALLY SPEAK OUT ON LINDA FROTHMOTH MYSTERY — CLAIM SARA JANE MASTERMINDED EVERYTHING

Miranda stood there, her eyes brimming with tears, waiting for an explanation, a justification, anything that could make sense of her pain. The pain in his chest still didn't go away. She couldn't believe that Jonathan had done these things behind her back. Jonathan didn't say a word. Instead, he stepped forward, closing the distance between them, and pulled Miranda into his lap. Jonathan knew that this was the only thing that would calm Miranda down. He didn't want to hurt her, but he needed to do this. He held her tightly, offering the only comfort he could in that moment. She buried her face in his shoulder, her tears soaking through his shirt.

Aunt Felicia shifted uncomfortably in her seat, glancing between them. “Madam…” “No,” Miranda said, not taking her eyes off the man. “I asked a question.” Silence stretched. Then, finally, the man nodded once, as though conceding defeat. “Alright,” he said. “My name is Colin. Colin Jones.” Miranda’s expression didn’t change. “And?” she prompted. He held her gaze steadily. “And… I’m your brother.” The room went still. Then Miranda laughed. It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t even particularly emotional. It was sharp.

Back then, when Jaden had visited Jason's medical center, he was honored to be Jaden's pilot. He had personally seen how submissive Jaden acted in front of Jason. At that moment, he realized that he could offend anybody else but not Jason. "You must be Miranda?" The man asked Miranda. "Yes, I am." Miranda held back her tears. As someone who was spoiled since a child, she had never experienced anything like this. At this moment, she had regarded that man as her final salvation. "You are minding my business, but won't you go and ask who I am?" Brother Dirk grinned at the man.
