* * * Max’s POV * * * My head is spinning with what has to be the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced, or at least the worst I’ve experienced since my 21st birthday party. Not even Nate had been able to heal that shit, and we had been laid in bed for two days wishing for death. Because it had to be easier than what we had felt. I feel a smile creep onto my face at the thought of that night, and the silence around the pack the two days after, while we all recovered. Yeah, this hangover is on par with that. I don’t even try to open my eyes. I allow myself to go back to sleep. The pack will understand if I’m not seen today. I just hope the others are suffering as much as I am.

“Comedy?” “Sure.” He began to flick through the options while I wrung my hands together. I eyed the tall glasses of orange juice he’d brought in. I really would have preferred a beer. Although by the state of the living room, they’d already been drunk. He settled on ‘The Hangover’, the introduction credits rolling on the large black TV screen. He picked up one of the tall glasses and handed it to me, before climbing onto the bed. I noticed how close he’d positioned himself, although on a single bed, it was hard not to.

Chapter Twenty-one The Hangover Olivia’s POV Opening my eyes one after the other, the early morning sun shone on my face, sending a sharp pang to my head. I closed my eyes again; my head ached intensely. I had been so drunk the day before, and as expected, I didn't remember everything that happened. I kept my eyes closed, lying still on the bed as I tried to piece together what might have occurred after my drinking binge the previous night. I wanted to recall all my actions after downing multiple cups of alcohol, but my mind remained blank; I couldn't remember anything.

He grumbled, even though, despite his half-drunk state, he recalled that she had done that earlier. At some point, during their chitchat and drinking, Kendi made a few phone calls. She stayed sober and only then did he notice he was doing much more of the drinking. She nursed one shot far longer than necessary while she continued to refill his glass. It didn't matter to Phil. She was right and he needed to numb the feeling of loss and disappointment that he felt. Time passed and at some point, Phil became completely drunk. The last thought he recalled entertaining was resolving to see Solana face to face. He must've passed out there at the bar because he didn't recall what happened after tha

Hailey remained immobile after hearing Ciara's last statement. Her confusion wasn't the least bit good in her especially with hungover state. She tried her best to avoid thinking too much and Instead, slowly got up and out of her bed all the while trying not to fall from her lack of stamina. Hailey only walked a few meters away from her bed straight to the table which held a glass of water and some ibuprofen for her hangover. Without a second thought, Hailey immediately downed the pill, forgetting the water for some seconds before finally washing the taste from her mouth.

HENRY'S POV I woke up with a throbbing headache, gosh why does my head hurts so much I turned around and saw xandra standing in front of the door "hey xandra, gosh am having headache" I said to her as she sigh "it's called a hangover OK, you have a f*cking hang over" she said angrily as she came in Why is she angry, what's wrong with her? What have I done wrong "xandra what's wrong? Is there a problem?" I asked her

The hangover was brutal. Every attempt to stand resulted in the world spinning around him. After several failed attempts, Sebastian's patience finally snapped. He smacked a hand against his forehead a few times before forcing himself upright again. Slowly, the dizziness eased. Reaching towards the bedside table, he switched on a few additional lamps, allowing the room to brighten gradually rather than all at once. Years of experience had taught him that sudden light only made a hangover worse. Back in his twenties, he'd spent enough mornings suffering through alcohol-induced misery to learn every survival trick available.

"I saw Wendy's hair and liked it, so I asked Chester to show me how!" Chester, facing the inevitable, stepped in front of Jane. "If you've figured it out, then there's no point in hiding it. "After I came back, I lost my memory for a bit. Waking up to Jane, I felt lost, and she was there for me. "Silvia, you can't imagine how vulnerable you feel after a brush with death. "Jane was just trying to comfort me, and I slipped up."

Helena's POV Oh, my God. This was the first phrase that came to my mind the very moment I opened my eyes. Being hungover in itself was horrible enough, now, being purely hungover in conjunction with a moral hangover was like wanting to disappear from the map. I had flashes of various scenes from the night before, however, the scene that I most wanted to erase from my memory was there, intact, detailed and vivid. How could I have said all that to John? Shit, shit, shit.

Vera's POV The sunlight found its way into my room, bathing my skin and hair, gold. Just as I rose from bed, a migraine struck me hard. “Ughh” I groaned and slapped my forehead as I gently placed my head back on my pillow. A hangover was something I had never experienced because I barely drank—but last night would be the last time I'd drink this much. I got out of bed to grab a cup of coffee from the kitchen, and as I passed by the pack's hall door. Phil's voice erupted, loud and angry. He seemed to be having a meeting.
