He is going on and on about Gwen and I am struggling to shut him up. “Torn between two women. Very interesting!” Ronald exclaims with a hushed tone, but we can all hear him. It’s like he can see what is happening between Clint and I. “It’s not fair on their wolves. True mate always wins,” Luna Amber responds, and someone agrees with her.

I can hear Lynn giggling in the background, making me suspicious about what she has heard. "Mark, we should just drive out there so we can find out in person.” Before I can respond, Lincoln takes the phone out of my hand. “You may not want to make that drive. Tia will be pretty busy the next few days.” I can hear a gasp on the line while I groan into my hands. Landon is chuckling at the entire situation. “A…Alpha…..uh….Landon or Lincoln…..I….uh…..I…..” Lynn is a stuttering mess, and Mark is not helping her out of things. I snatch my phone back just to watch Lincoln laugh at me.

"Mister Corona?" Ronald was taken aback for a moment. "Are you suggesting that the Hill family's decision changed because of Mister Corona?"

At that moment, Zac’s phone lit up on the table. She hesitated, then picked it up. It was a message from Chase: “Mr. Lincoln, the man who had dinner with Ms. Smith last night is named Ethan Xander. I’ve sent his full profile to your inbox.”

They had to be done by now and waiting on her. "Sure, I'll put your name on them and keep them behind the counter. What's your name?" She asked. "Rogers," Ronnie answered and smiled. "Like the Sheriff?" She asked. "Yes, exactly, I'm his wife." Ronnie said. "I heard about him getting married, but I didn't realize he had any children," the clerk stapled the paper onto their bags. "Thank you and Merry Christmas!" Ronnie said as she turned and headed out the door. She stopped in front of a store that cut off the bitter cold wind and called Mitch.

Nixon stood tall among his warriors watching over the training situation that was taking place, he looked over catching my eyes and i smiled brightly and walked over to him and another good looked man with blue green eyes that looked like they were glowing as the sun light hit them. Nixon asked where i was of to and i told him to the shops with Nina then leaned over to give him a small peck on the lips, he leaned away taking a step back and i felt my eyes brim and the realization that he was ashamed of us came to the front of my mind.

I ask. Ronnie crosses his arms and glares at Langston stubbornly. “If you don’t stay away from my sister, we’re through.” He gets up, clicks on his flashlight, and heads down the path toward home. Once he’s out of earshot, Langston says in a lowered voice, “If Ronnie wants to alienate himself from us, then so be it. I’m not going to let him come between us.” Langston takes my hand. “We just need to keep working on him. He’ll come around when he realizes he can’t change our minds.”

We sat this way the entire time we ate, and he kept me firmly in place even after we were done and the topic of activities for today was brought up once more. Ronnie had finished her food much quicker than Jax or I, seeing as she was not entangled with another person whilst trying to eat, therefore she had started filling us in on what she wanted to do today while we finished, “So Willow, I was thinking I could show you around town today and maybe introduce you to a few of the girls if you want.” I had just wrapped my lips around the last bite of my omelet before I pushed my plate away from me when Ronnie had sprung her question, consequently I was unprepared to respond.

I waggled further into the lounge room, and sat on one of the lounges pretending that Lincoln wasn't there. Lincoln Xavier was a Billionaire in his textile industry and was very successful so it was very understandable why my Dad would want us to be together even though I had rejected him. "I hope you enjoyed the wine," My Mom inquired facing Lincoln after our family maid Juliet returned to collect the empty glass of finished wine. "Of course Ma," Lincoln said. "How have you been doing," Lincoln said as his stupid eyes met mine. "Oh my gosh," I muttered to myself. I hated him.
