Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

There was a scarf inside, made of natural silk, with a refreshing and beautiful pattern. "This is..." Lina paused. "This is the birthday gift I prepared for Mrs. Hamerton," Lena said softly. "Compared to what they've brought, this is insignificant. Still, it's a token of my sincerity." Lina held her hand, feeling a wave of warmth. She had heard from Jade that Lena had sold a property and used most of the money to buy this silk scarf. It might not compare to priceless jade or gemstones, but it was likely the best gift that Lena could offer.

Mint Mocha
I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Bonded To The Alpha God of War

Bonded To The Alpha God of War

The seamstress’s fingers trembled as she obeyed, carefully lifting the gown from the box. The fabric caught the light, shifting softly between tones of gray and lilac… muted, elusive, like twilight caught in cloth. Mira’s eyes sharpened, her curiosity sparked. “What shade is this?” she asked, her voice smooth but edged with authority. The seamstress lowered her gaze, forcing steadiness into her tone. “Gray lilac, Luna. The dye is rare… almost impossible to find. I had only enough to make this one gown.”

Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

Jack and Thomas looked at each other miserably before sighing ‘Who asked them to be hopelessly in love with two senseless women? The cloth merchant was extremely happy to see his favorite customer. Jack and Thomas waited by the side while Mira and Almera went to get the materials. They bought a beige colored poly taffeta and beige linen as per Mira’s plan. Mira also got 2 sets of 3 yards of brown silk cloth like she did last time. The merchant gave this for free due to the large order they made. “We have to go to Aldrin’s shop to get the thread. I don’t think I will have enough in my collection.” Mira told Jack on the way.

MY HUSBAND'S HIDDEN TRUTH

MY HUSBAND'S HIDDEN TRUTH

Everything is falling into place, just like we’d planned back before the lies, before the pain. A knock on the door makes me look up. Lincoln stands in the doorway, holding a large roll of fabric under his arm. “I brought the samples we talked about,” he says, his voice warm. “Plus a few extra bolts I thought you might like my grandmother helped weave them before she retired.”

THE PROXY BRIDE: His bride. Her Secret.

THE PROXY BRIDE: His bride. Her Secret.

"Marta handles linens. Lin manages your wardrobe. I ensure everything… flows." Marta unfurled a cashmere throw across the chaise lounge, her fingers tracing the weave with reverence. "Your bed linens are Egyptian cotton, 800-thread count. Monsieur Cassian insisted they be ‘cloud-soft.’" She didn’t smile. Didn’t fawn. Just smoothed a wrinkle with surgical precision. Lin opened the ledger. "Silk pajamas in blush, not ivory. Breakfast: Earl Grey with one sugar, never honey. You prefer your books well-read, but never dog-eared." She paused, glancing at Elara. "Monsieur was very specific."

THE BOY WHO COULD BEAR AN HEIR

THE BOY WHO COULD BEAR AN HEIR

There was something about the colors—calm blues, soft greys, and cream shades—that drew him in. “I think… that row,” he said, pointing at it. She nodded, still smiling, and they walked together toward the row. The faint scent of fabric and cologne filled the air as they approached. Lucien reached out and began to run his fingers over the clothes, feeling the smoothness of the fabrics. “These are Italian cotton shirts,” the lady explained. “Very light and soft, good for both formal and casual wear.” Lucien nodded, not really sure what to say. “Would you like to try some on?” she asked.

It's not slow; I like the transitions, how the characters change and add complexity. I love Lucien; his painful memories make my heart swell; I hate his father. I'm still waiting for new episodes....️...

Hi everyone, I’ve seen a few comments saying the story feels slow or that what’s “supposed” to be happening hasn’t happened yet—even someone mentioned on Facebook that we’re already in Chapter 40 and the main story hasn’t begun. I want you to know that this is intentionally a slow burn story.

Double D’s Possession: The Omega’s Coup

Double D’s Possession: The Omega’s Coup

"But your fingers are completely forbidden from touching the materials." "How is a buyer supposed to judge the quality of the wolf-linen if my claws cannot test the weave?" I ask, my thick brows furrowing with immediate irritation. The shop omega clicks her tongue with massive impatience, looking down her nose at my frame. "This is the Black Snake Vrig line, boy. Does your small brain not know that every single tunic in this den is harvested from high-quality forest cotton and elite wildland linen? Naturally, the gold metric for these garments is extremely high, starting at five-digit coin figures. If your pouch feels uncomfortable with those numbers, your boots should visit the cheap dirt s

Land of the Midnight. Whispers of the lips

Land of the Midnight. Whispers of the lips

the woman's voice came out to be sweet in her ears but she didn't miss the way her tone sounded prideful. "Yes, I'm Kate" Kate bowed as she took a step back from the daunting woman. "You brought the linen?" Madam Castrol asked sitting down on the sofa. "Yes," Kate brought out the linen from her bag and gave it to Castrol. Madam Castrol took the linen and examined it, feeling the texture "Fine linen I see. This is good" She seemed happy and satisfied with the linen. "Tell her I would need more of this in the upcoming weeks, let's say by the end of next month"

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

I was taking longer than necessary to find it. I had been distracted by a pale, silvery wool I hadn’t seen before—finer than it looked at first glance, with a quiet sheen that caught the light only when it moved. I was turning it over in my hands, considering its structure, wondering what it wanted to become, whether it belonged in the world I was building now. The women were talking about clothes. I gathered they had just come from a shop—possibly L’Eclipse—and had tried something on. “It’s the lining,” one of them said. “The inside is as finished as the outside. You don’t usually get that at this price point.”

They looked up as I walked in, saw the expression on my face, and fell silent. “I’m not here for launch prep,” I said. “This is for something else.” I set the fabric on the table, unfolded it carefully, and waited. Claudia was the first to speak. “That’s hand-dyed. No synthetic blends. Looks like natural linen-silk.” “From my mother’s collection,” I said. “Clementine kept it all these years.” Helena stepped closer. “What do you want to make with it?” “Just one piece. A coat. Not for sale. Not for show.”
