Oh. "I know." I lied. I spotted a small pack of gummy bears in the backseat. “You eat gummy bears?” I questioned. He looked too…violent for that. I wouldn’t say too old, because denying people candy because they’re old makes no sense. But Luca didn’t look like the kind of man who’d eat gummy bears. He chuckled. “They’re for my son, Remi. Sebastian looked up from the dining table, surprised. “You… you… when did you get back?” Sebastian asked, and Remy smiled. “Last night,” he said, and Sebastian pointed his fork at him. “Last night, and you didn't bother to join my party?” Sebastian said. Remy smiled, pulled out a chair, and took his seat before gesturing to the butler to bring his meal. “It was so crowded,” Remy said, “and you know how everyone tries to be on their best behavior whenever I'm around. I don't want to kill the fun,” he said, smiling, and Sebastian laughed.

Yet, whenever Alyssa had fish, he would patiently and carefully remove all the bones for her. He had got to be Damien. He must be. "Damien! I'm Lyse. Don't you recognize me? Damien!" The red sauce’s smell filled my nostrils as the oregano’s smell mixed with garlic told me that this was going to be good. They placed the parmesan cheese between us, and put my fettucine in front of me.

“You order then, Mr. Responsible.” Without missing a beat, Jules turned to the waiter. “We will have one bruschetta to share.” He looked toward Damien. “Mr. Carrington?” “Tagliata di manzo e roasted vegetables.” The waiter nodded before looking at Elena. “I will have saffron risotto with grilled sea bass.” “And for you, miss?” Maya sighed dramatically. “Seafood linguine, add pasta too.” She leaned toward Jules. “I still think we should have ordered everything.”

Alex, Audrey, Anna, Tari, Brax, Leila, Trent, Godric, and me. This was the first night since the Half Moon’s packs arrival that we all ate dinner together. This was also the first night I hosted a formal dinner between our pack and another. Though I’m not sure if I am the host at all. Luna Tari did all the cooking. She made two different Italian dishes. Ricotta Gnudi, which looked like meatballs made of flour. And Creamy Chicken Marsala, which was a fancy chicken, mushroom, and pasta meal. I was so happy she made the Creamy Chicken Marsala, because I wasn’t sure how Godric and Alex would feel if they didn’t have meat in their meal.

"Do you want to eat?" I tried to hide my smile as I walked to the kitchen and stood beside him. "Of course, Chef Jones." I teased him and he rolled his eyes. "So what are you making? What's for dinner? Carbonara? Bolognese? Olio?" Hunter smirked and looked over his shoulder. "Nope," he took one jar then added, "We are gonna have pesto linguine." I hated pesto. That was the only pasta sauce that I found disgusting. Instead of telling him exactly that, I faked a smile and said, "Yum."

Walking into the kitchen, the staff had an amazing spread for us. Along the middle of the stable was different pastas, garlic bread, salad and veggies. Everything was steaming and made my mouth water just looking at it. I decided to go with my favorite, Garlic Buttery Shrimp Linguine with 2 garlic bread rolls. I saw Grant chose Manicotti with one garlic great and a bowl of salad that he topped with ranch and croutons.

Jonathan smirks. I giggle, feeling more relaxed now. "I won't tell anyone if you won't," I tease him, taking another sip of the wine. "I'm not really sure what to order," I admit, looking at the long list of dishes. "Well, let me help you then," Jonathan says, taking the menu from me. "I highly recommend the linguine with clams. It's my favorite dish here." I nod and he orders for us, along with a few appetizers.
