The creature lunged. Chaos erupted. Elior’s blade met shadow, sparks flying as the creature absorbed the blow. Bram swung his axe, but it passed through as if cutting through mist. Myrra’s daggers struck true, yet the wounds sealed as quickly as they formed. Then its gaze locked onto Rael. A surge of heat exploded through him as the book’s pages flared to life, the ink twisting, forming words that burned into his vision: SPEAK AND CLAIM. Rael’s voice shook as he forced the words past his lips. “The Hollow Throne does not grant power. It takes.”

His body, which had appeared to be under the control of this mysterious figure, was now back in his hands. "Curse you and your machinations! I won't let you corrupt any more lives. I'll put an end to your reign of terror." Rafe cursed. The man examined a bag of old books he'd brought back from Singapore. It took him a long journey and a long process to find the book's location. "This grimoire, it's the key to eradicating your presence, saving her from a fate she doesn't deserve." "God, I'm exhausted from all this." Rafe whispered with a face that looked really tired as if a lot of heavy loads were on his mind this time.

Each page was written in the ancient script in Dragon Language. "Can you read it?" asked Astrid curiously. "Yes, I can read it. But it looks like we can't linger here. We gotta get out of here. The library is almost closed according to my estimation," Draco whispered. Astrid patted her forehead. "Ah, you are right. We can be locked in this room. We need to get out of the library before the clerk looks for us and finds us here. Come on, let's go out," said Astrid.
