The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates นิยาย & เรื่องราว

“It's one female mated to two males. Brothers.” “Brothers of the Alpha bloodline share a mate,” he continues. “It's been like that for this pack since the beginning of time.” He tilts his head to look at the female beside him, and I can only assume it's her turn to speak. Sure enough, she does. “There are rules,” she picks up from where he left off, locking eyes with me. “Rules that must be followed, or things will go wrong. The main one is that both males either accept their mate or both of them reject her. And that's what we're here to discuss.”

Had told me to rule it justly. “You need to think about the pack, Damon. No one likes this stupid rule anymore, and it's time we end it.” Malcom sighs, coming to stand in front of my desk, his mug of coffee no longer in his hands. I close my eyes, taking a deep breath while cheers erupt from my phone. Odishka must have been executed by now. Silence settles over my office while I focus on calming down. I know Malcom is right, but I can’t get rid of the rule of only mating warriors. It’s made the pack stronger and has kept us safe. But it also caused me to let go of my mate.

I sighed with relief, knowing I wasn’t going to get beaten tonight. I took off his shoes and placed a blanket over him so he wouldn’t wake up angry. I quietly closed the bedroom door and bolted down to the living room. You might think this is my chance to escape, but you’re wrong. I’ve tried countless times, but I’ve always been dragged back and beaten. There are strict rules in this pack, as Jason explained. No one is allowed to leave the pack, or they’ll be executed. Women and mates are only allowed to stay at home to serve their mates, and the male pups begin training at the age of 11. Anyone who disagrees with these rules is killed.

She poked a fork with ribs in her mouth, chewing. Only my enemies when I give them a swift death, I almost blurted. With the highball glass at my lips, I highlighted with my imploring lilacs, “Our initiation is not a simple process. Alpha Jacques would separate you from me. You can’t possibly want that.” “If it makes me an independent pack member—definitely yes,” she expressed with a light in her eyes. “And don’t forget my no mate rule.” "He's out of territory." "I'll wait," she murmured.

I sat on the couch talking with Fred as Oliver went upstairs to talk to his mate. I was sure he was gonna have fun annoying her up there. Her father had told me that she would be going with us today. It was odd but their pack has a rule and that was, as soon as you find your mate you have to go with him either to his house if he was in the same pack or to your mate's pack, a girl couldn't say no. And if she or he has to reject his mate then they have to do it right away with no time to think about it.

If the conversation between him and Jason was true, then Ceasor's illness must be treated immediately before it's too late. “I know I deserve it. I broke the rule.” That rule was made by the Wolfgang Pack, for the Pack and their surrounding Packs. You can only reject your mate before you are mated. It's for better or worse once you accept each other's mate bond. Rejecting her and making her cry brings about severe punishments of the law.

Before she left she text Tala good morning knowing shed just be waking up. So the day continued Luna's work day went well despite being distracted. Before she knew it the day was over and it was time to talk more with Trae. After dinner Trae met Luna on the back porch. " Ok cuz let's go over these rules and consequences. we only have 5 so no big deal right. 1. Always stay loyal to the pack 2. No sex prior to being paired with your appointed mate 3. No homosexual relationships 4. No illegal drug use 5. obey the packs alpha

“Food always makes bad news better.” “You mean cookies,” she says, her lips twitching and her eyes flicking to me. I sigh, but my lips twitch, too. “Yes. I mean cookies.” “I have a question,” she says, angling her body towards mine. “Yes?” “What are all these rules you have? The ones Sebastian said you’d eventually break.” I grimace and look down for a moment. “No kissing, no sleepovers, no pack members, and no mate,” I say, ripping the bandaid off and ticking them off my fingers as I go.

I asked just to divert my attention to the real topic. He arched his brows and before nodding. "Well, as I said, I only have three rules," he started. "First, you're not allowed to fall in love with anyone in the pack-except me." I gave him an incredulous look before bursting out in loud faughter. I was laughing too hard that I even choked on my own saliva. "Excuse me?" I shook my head in disbelief." Did you really think I would fall in love with anyone in your pack?"

she whispered, and my eyes almost bulged out of their sockets. "B.. beheaded? B.. but why?" I stuttered as I stared up at her. "This is a strict pack, a very strict one and different from every pack I've come across. They have lots of rules that are to be obeyed strictly," she tried explaining, and I immediately sat up. "Does it mean I've broken a rule by trying to run away from my mate? Will I get beheaded?" I questioned in fear.
