The very core of me feeling emptier as the seconds go by. I remember that feeling, the soul sucking emptiness that surfaces my own memory. A memory of laying under Damian as he fed from me. I wake with a jolt, sitting up in the bed to find the room drenched in complete darkness, Lora is fussing in the crib so I collect her only to lay back on the pillows. I feed her as I think over the nightmare I had just surfaced from. There, Lil! Abyss shouts. Look at your daughters neck, she demands.

“Sleep, Aria. When you wake, we make sure your nightmares don’t own you.” It’s such an odd promise that I nod without thinking. In bed, I stare at the ceiling for a long time. The city hums below. My chest aches. Eventually, I drift off. The nightmares come, as promised. I’m back in the hall, Liam’s voice echoing as he rejects me, the pack’s laughter swelling. Except this time, the pain doesn’t stop. It builds and builds until I’m sure my body will rip apart. I try to scream and no sound comes out.

She knew her nightmare will soon turn to reality and this nightmarish reality will make her life hell. Elena Singh was a 22 years old working woman like every normal women but was her life really normal like others? She was unique, she was talented, she was brave, she was independent yet she was terrified, not of anyone else but herself. Why? Because she saw dreams, or you can call them nightmar JJes, and because whatever she dreams comes true. Lately, She gets these weirdly terrifying nightmares which are scarier than any other nightmare she saw. Only if she knew, the MAN in her nightmare will soon turn her whole existence in to a living nightmare.

Still, I barely even paused before I turned to the Nightmare eyes, not even bothering to close my eyes as I surrounded them with my illusions. They would turn pure black when I used my abilities, so I closed my eyes so as not to scare anyone. I didn’t care about scaring whoever was watching us with those damned eyes. Actually, I can think of a lot worse things that I want to do to them. Instead, I watched as the Nightmare Eyes got overwhelmed by my illusions and smashed into each other. I didn’t bother to turn around the face the four of them, knowing I wouldn’t actually be able to leave once I saw Aiden.

My breath was shaky as I awaited what was to follow. “I do not love you, Elora Amoh, and never will. So do yourself a favor and leave. I have a wedding to complete.” My body shook vigorously as each word sank in slowly. Each word that I hoped was unreal. The nights of bliss we had been nothing but a lie. His confessions every time, the way he would stare at me, the words of encouragement, everything had been a lie. My eyes started to sting with tears. “You-” Words failed me.

~NORA~ "Well, something caught my interest." She said as her face flushed with shades of pink. I knew that look—she found something that caught her interest. I could not help but wonder who it was. If it happened to be someone I knew, "..so back to our conversation, what's your dream? What was it all about?" Lilith asked. "I've been having strange nightmares about a black dragon plunging his claws into my heart and sometimes his fangs directly below my ears," I explained to her as she concentrated on me.

Lily POV The scream tore from my throat before I was fully awake. I sat bolt upright in bed, heart hammering, sweat soaking through my nightshirt. My hands clutched the blankets as I gasped for air, unable to shake the image from my nightmare, Alex's hands around my throat, Sarah's cold smile, Emma falling from the roof. "Lily?" Tony's voice came from the doorway. He stood there in pajama pants and a t-shirt, his hand still pressed against his healing ribs. "Another nightmare?"

She pressed her thighs together as she cried while he sat on the wooden chair, catching his breath. She closed her eyes as her whole body trembled in fear and pain. She felt like she was in her worst nightmare and she couldn't wake up from her dream. The person she loved the most had turned into a ferocious beast that tormented her mercilessly, making her heart shatter into tiny pieces. ******** "Violet! Don't go with him! Don't leave me!" Lucian said as he opened his eyes, waking up from his nightmare. His body was sweating, his breath was rushing as his heart was racing. He dreamed Darius took Violet from him.

He understands my fear as I am traumatized by the events and suffering from nightmares since. The first night when I thrashed in the bed, Luc shook me awake. Once he realized that I was still trapped in the same event, he hugged me tight as I sobbed and eventually slept again. Till now, he shares my bed and makes sure to soothe me with soft words in case I get a nightmare. With Luc near me, the occurrences and intensity of the nightmares are getting lesser and lesser. “Luc,” I call out. “No,” he answers back. I sigh.

Late at night, I woke up from a vivid and lengthy nightmare. In this dream, I experienced a surreal fall through an abyss of darkness, where fragmented rays of light swirled around me. Amidst this chaotic setting, I heard Jayce professing his love for Morgana, while Morgana's unsettling laughter echoed in the background. I labored to rise, the late night enshrouding me. My heart lay heavy, a burden of stone, suffocating my breath. Without knowing how much time passed, I turned off my cell phone and drove aimlessly through the city until I arrived at a lavishly decorated bar.
