Let Them Kneel

Let Them Kneel

The roots. The trees. Everything that had been hollowed out. Drained. Waiting. The ground trembled—subtle at first. Then more. Life returned. Slowly. Deliberately. Branches thickened. Leaves unfurled. Color bled back into the world in quiet waves, spreading outward from where she stood. The dead began to remember what it meant to live. Lyressa drew in a slow breath— And let it out. As if watching her world come back to life again filled something deep within her that had been empty for far too long.

This novel is so good from the start (not completed yet, 212 as of 1 May 2026). The mystery, the reveal, the high stakes rescue the fights. Has it all. And it all connects in a satisfying way. Love the FL and ML, such great chemistry. I couldn't wait for the updates. Highly recommend this read.

This was a really good book from beginning to end. And while it was a serial, it did have an ending which I appreciate unlike some other books on this app. Would love to see a book 2, perhaps about the children as adults. Overall, very engaging and I couldn’t wait for new chapters to be released.

Mate? Or Die!

Mate? Or Die!

"I was going to have you executed but decided no, she's earned the right to prove her loyalty one last time." Odessa drew a silver blade from her belt; it glimmered in the light of the fire. "Kill him," she said. My world spun. Luca moaned, apparently struggling to keep his eyes open, his swollen lids permitting the barest indication of awareness. I felt cold all over. I had killed before. Many more lives than I wanted to count. But this— there's no denying it— was different. Odessa leaned forward. "You want to live? Show me your loyalty. Kill him."

Who Let the Dog Out?

Who Let the Dog Out?

"What!" Hunter snapped out of his daze and kicked the door open in a panic. The loud bang drew the attention of everyone nearby. As soon as the storage room door swung open, a thick, nauseating scent of blood filled the air. Inside, the baby lay in the stroller, mauled beyond recognition. His throat had been torn apart, and blood pooled across the floor in a gruesome sight. "This is terrifying! Didn't she say the dog doesn't bite?" "That dog looks familiar… Isn't it the same one that attacked a pregnant woman a while ago?"

A love to die for....

asia, I'm sure she doesn't know that he's alive. The whole world knows that he's dead." Cordelia was still not convinced but didn't say anything after what her mother said. Since the jewelry auction, Cordelia was sure that it was Anastasia. That gaze, the scheming smile, and the text from an unknown number. They didn't have any other enemy other than her and they have turned pretty weird since she's come back. After a brief silence, she started talking again "Why don't we just tell her that Jonathan is alive! This way we wouldn't have to wait too much.." She looked at Liam "And you wouldn't need to get close to the bitch. Knowing that her father is alive, she wouldn't be able to control her

An Exchange of Lives

An Exchange of Lives

Through unfamiliar faces filled with fear and disdain, I gazed at the pure white sky. It seemed something was falling. It was getting closer. That face… It was so familiar. The girl I pushed down 20 years ago had finally fallen on top of me! … The following was an excerpt from today's news. "Young Man Goes Berserk on Liberation Street, Subdued but Passes Away: A young man on Liberation Street suffered a breakdown and, after being restrained, tragically passed away. "Reports indicate that the man experienced an intense psychological shock, leading to a rupture in his cardiovascular system, which ultimately proved fatal.

Love or Live

Love or Live

He drilled bullets through Daquan Hillevi, Amaya and Leo's uncle, the commissioner of NYC police department in the head thrice before dropping his cold dead body that fell onto the cold, dusty warehouse floor. Bullets started flying around and I had to duck. Mrs. Spikes, me, Maisie, Sheryl, Sal and Amaya wrapped ourselves around Leonard Hillevi who was too young to have had such a big bite of the wicked world whist covering our ears to dampen the sound of metals against metal, bullets against walls and bullets against bodies. ** Two days passed and all things were almost back to normal. The businessman and most of his men were either dead or in a cell.

I Let My Three Childhood Friends Die

I Let My Three Childhood Friends Die

The screen kept flashing, and the relentless ringing of incoming calls pierced the air, one after another, like a death knell. Even through the phone, I could practically feel the hellish despair and panic they were going through right now. Judging by the time, the trap Lucille had set up with the thugs had probably sprung. Right now, those three guys were likely pinned under the boots of those very thugs, forced to take scandalous photos. My lips curled into a smirk. I held down the power button and shut off my phone. The room fell into complete darkness and silence. This "old mother hen" wasn't going to save them this time around. Good luck to them.

He Let My Brother Die, so I Married Another Don

He Let My Brother Die, so I Married Another Don

The day my only brother was cornered in a dockside warehouse by a rival mafia family, I knelt on the carpet of Damian's study and begged him. "Lend me ten men. I only need to hold until dawn, and the men I hired can get up here from the south side." He took a drag on his cigar and scoffed, "Ten men? Do you know how many people have eyes on that shipment on the north side tonight? My men aren't here to wipe up your messes." My knuckles went white where I had hold of the hem of his trousers. My phone screen lit up. A message about my brother taking a bullet, the blood a blurred smear of red. I was about to beg again when I heard him place a call over my head. His voice went soft, the way you'd
