They are about to protest but I immediately left the room and made my way to the garden. Everything still looks surreal to me. My status, although abandoned, is still a princess. This world--- is very different from mine; emperor, king, prince, duke, magic, mermaid, siren-- I've only read it in books but it feels weird to live in the world of fantasy. I just can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that I am living in a place that is not earth but has oxygen, I can’t believe I am living in a place which is in between heaven and hell and that, Lucifer is just beneath me and can choose to visit anytime he feels like. ‘You are nervous.’ Abbadon says as he stops walking, making me also halt in my steps. ‘Is it that obvious?’ I ask him as I push a strand of hair from my face.

I mean, don't you get tired of living for so long? I smiled at her. "I do get tired, Natalia. But I also have the luxury of time. I was the living and breathing royalty that everyone expects me to be. Reaching my hand up to the slow-moving clouds, cold, wet. Even in this world, problems that I cannot control, follow. I thought I could escape the world, the reality that I live in, leave the town, and the people’s gossip about me. But why? Why does the world need to be so cliche? Right. I was in a book. Of course, everything had to be this cliche. The things that you would read in a fairy tale where the protagonist gets teleported somewhere and is expected to take responsibility for the world. Weighing the problems of everyone in here on her shoulders alone.

They are greedy enough to live as long as they want. All the wonders of the world were being discovered, and not all those who possessed powers and ability in this world were evil. Just like how mages use their mana, the magic they possess makes the place more balanced since it is a fantasy world—mages build up their mana in intense training to make an easy and convenient way of living. For another example, what helps and balances the modern world are the human-made technologies. They didn't know at that time how destructive their experiments were, how they would turn out and how they would affect the world.
