Living In The Present Book Novels & Stories

It's always been leading up to now, the most goddamn inevitable thing to happen, obviously. It's been an hour now, I think. I stopped focusing on anything that didn't need my attention after everything decided to hit me in my face like a damn explosion. I'm not even sure how I feel at this point, what do I need to feel, to expect, as I continue thinking about things, about this disaster and self destruction, sometimes it's like that, I numb out my pain because it's always been so constant that eventually I started learning to live through the pain.

Time can really be playful sometimes. It can be an enemy or a friend, well, it depends. The clouds in the sky was clustered like grasses and stones. The weather hailed a mellow ambient. I glanced at the device infront of me: 3:00 PM. I sighed and laid my head on the head rest of the car. I ran my hand over my jaw and tried to steady my thoughts. I wanna focus at the moment. I can't take out the possibility that Brylle might be here, on the current generation, but I can't neglect the probability that he might not.

"I need to come home and home is where you are." I blush and hide my face in his chest. He is my home too and I cannot bear homelessness. ________________________________________________________________________ In case you guys did not notice, this chapter is in the present tense because everything that happened before was recounted by Rayne and Adrian, but now they're telling us what they're going through step by step. I hope you're enjoying this book so far :)
