Novel & Cerita In This Moment Book

"And I hope—the Nico, Arlo, and Rhett from those childhood days—can wish me well." The rain fell softly, dotting my gown and their shoulders. The guns in their hands slowly lowered. Rhett turned his face away. Arlo closed his eyes. Nico stared at the ground, frozen. Then they stepped back. Two steps. Let the road open. Our car rolled forward between them, straight ahead. In the rearview mirror, their figures grew smaller and smaller, swallowed by the rain. Zane took my hand again and squeezed. I squeezed back. I didn't look back.

At the man who was going to be completely undone by his mother's reaction to this news and who already knew it and was already looking forward to it with the specific warmth of someone who understood that being undone by the people you loved was not a weakness. It was the whole point. "Dante," I said. "Yes," he said. "Thank you," I said. "For all of it. Everything that got us here." He looked at me across the table. "Thank you," he said. "For not looking away." The bookshop. The grey November morning. A woman arguing with a cab driver who had looked up and held a stranger's gaze for three seconds and had not known that those three seconds were the beginning of everything.

Honestly, I know this is not the best work out there and this is definitely not my best work. I will not ramble about how I started writing this book only for fun and how it became a paid story. No. I just wanted to stop by and let you all know that this book is actually a part of a series called PERFECT FOR YOU. Vincent and Joyce’s book is actually book 2 in the series. "I was awake though when I opened the book. Shouldn't I have been asleep?" "On that part the page summoned you here. In a way you're asleep but I have faith that Slate is waiting beside you for your return."

Our daughter giggles between us, blissfully unaware of the gravity of this reunion but somehow at the very heart of it. I take a deep breath and let it out slowly. This book is a piece of me, and now, it’s also a piece of you. Until the next story… With all my heart, Clara. J. Stari

I know I'll keep on saying this, that moments come and moments go, only this time, my moment is right now and it's only the beginning of me living. The End.

And the space said what it had been designed to say to the two people standing in it, who were, in this moment, exactly the people it had been designed for — moving from one state to another, already changed, not yet fully arrived, in the held breath of the in-between. Present to it. Both of them. End of Chapter Eighty-Six

"You refuse to learn, don't you, Whitney?! I thought you'd changed, but all you did was become worse than before!" Henry walked away in anger, but the maid suddenly exclaimed, "Mr. Jordan, Mrs. Jordan has passed out!"
