Lizard Mutt Hunger Games Novels & Stories

Lily Pendleton Training started at dawn. Thorne didn't mess around. He had me in the training yard before the sun was fully up, surrounded by his best wolves. They were huge, scarred, and looked at me like I was a curious little bug. "She's the Mute Omega?" one of them sneered. "She looks like she'd break if I sneezed." Thorne's voice cut through: "She'd break you if she wanted to. Now shut up and watch."

Talia After having my dragon mate eating too many mutated reindeer, Thail and I fly over the snowclad land searching for Kuha's village. Our rescue mission better be quick, or I'm going to throw a tantrum. I'm hungry, and because of it, I'm in a terrible mood. I have a feeling Thail can feel my irritation. He seems eager to please me. It's cute but also terrifying since a dragon wanting to serve a moody lady might be the most frightening thing in the world.

A pain-filled howl rips through the air, snapping me out of my memories and spurring me to move quicker as I recognize the sound. When I’m close enough to feel him, I skid to a stop and watch as he stumbles through the woods while clutching his stomach, which is covered in large gashes that had to have been created by that fucking lycan. ‘Zane!’ His eyes immediately snap to me, and a look of relief flashes across his features before he collapsed on the ground. Cursing, I rush forward and collect him on my back. Once he’s in place, I turn and begin to move, making my way back to Disastria’s territory so that he can be treated.

He's worked for the council all his life. I retrieved the alpha mutt from Landon. “Shift! It's a duel!” I released an alpha command on the asshole and he immediately shifted into his ‘scrawny’ wolf. ‘Go, watch over her.’ I mindlink Landon. In a flash, I shifted into my beast, standing on my hind legs. Another growl leaves my lips and without hesitation, I leaped on the alpha mutt, bringing him to the ground. The weakling groaned in pain as Gray snapped his femur into halves with his claws coming in contact with his face over and over again until it was beyond recognition.

I turned back and saw another giant black lizard standing next to the brown one. "I'm a werewolf! I'm not a hUman!" I exclaimed at her. "Is that me or does she understand what I've just said?" The black lizard stared at me with her huge parietal eyes and asked. "Yes, you've heard me right. I can understand you," I raised my voice and said. "Mine, mine. What a surprise. HUman and wolf, two of my least favorite creatures packed into one." Her turquoise eyes rolled back.

“Wanted for arson? You mean the crime you so meticulously set up? Like I would waste my time starting a fire to harm this good-for-nothing bastard who’s already on his way to hell.” Kylan stepped forward indignantly but a glare from Chase halted him in his tracks. I scoffed. He could be so vicious and manipulative out of sight but when he stood in from of his opponent, he was nothing but a coward. “Because you have a powerful lycan backing you, you think you’re all that now.” Lily sneered. “Let me break it to you that you aren’t.”

Lightning's POV "The lycanthropes are taking over!” A paranoid werewolf screamed before a gunshot split through his skull. His body crumpled to the ground, lifeless. My pack warriors surged forward like into the territory, tearing into everything that dared move. Screams filled the night, mixed with the thunder of gunfire, steel clashing, and the wet rip of flesh. The chaos was a symphony, and I reveled in it. The wailing, the begging, the desperate cries for mercy—they were my orchestra, and I their conductor.

Lisa left the room, closing the door behind her. When the door closed, Layla fell back into an empty chair. Her stomach growled; she was hungry but had no appetite. She didn't even know what to feel. She was angry, but at whom? "It's not your fault," Linda, her wolf, spoke up. "Happy you got what you wanted?" Layla asked her wolf. "Well, for one thing, I'm happy. Our mate wants us, he marked us and completed the mating process. That shows he loves us," Linda said.
