She said sarcastically. “You are welcome.” Jorge grinned at her before his eyes landed on the bag she had. “You bought us some Freedom Day gifts?” He asked and tried to reach for the bag, but Lola stepped away from him. “We don’t give gifts on Freedom Day, this is for Logan.” Lola said awkwardly and looked at the entrance. “What is for Logan?” A voice asked, and all heads turned to Logan who was coming from his lovely elevator. “Jorge?” Logan asked and walked towards him, giving him a hug and a pat on the shoulder.

In the other, Nathan and I fought side by side against darkness, our bond unbreakable. “Selene?” Logan’s voice broke through my thoughts, pulling me back to the present. I opened my eyes to find him standing before me, concern etched on his face.

He sounded annoyed. Ciara looked back up. She cleared her throat. “Good morning!” she shouted. No one returned the greeting. “I came here to meet someone.” “We do not welcome anyone’s arrival,” said one of them. “You’d better go.” This turned out to be more difficult than Ciara had expected. But she didn’t want to just give up. “Moon Warriors,” she said. “You are the Moon Warriors pack and you were subjected to a terrible attack nineteen years ago and lost a member of the pack in that incident.”

She looked utterly broken, muttering to herself as she clawed at the club's doors, her voice a broken record. "Let me in… I'm the bride… My fiancé's sister is the Donna… I'm the future Donna…" I watched her for a moment, then shook my head. A slight nod from me, and two of my men quietly guided her away from the lights, the music, the joy. After that day, she never troubled Lucas or Jenny again. Inside lay a small portrait of Aria, painted two years ago when she had first been announced as his future Luna. A lock of her dark hair, saved from a time when such things had seemed romantic rather than desperate. A letter she had written him early in their relationship, full of hope and love and dreams of their future together. He read that letter often, torturing himself with the memory of what he had destroyed.

Third person's POV [Logan's POV] On Sunday, Logan was dressed in his usual grey collared shirt and jeans, standing outside Joy's house. He had mustered enough courage to roll his sleeves up so he didn't look out of place for this warm weather. His scars were fading, but they were still there, light long lines on his forearm. Each line racing the bluish veins to his wrist, each line a story of his countless battles with loss, loneliness and depression.

Logan chuckled at me as well, before coming back closer to me, and kissing me. In the end, after going through some difficult things in the last few days, Logan and I were able to spend time together tonight, in a very intimate way. And the two of us also talked about many things that were closely related to the future life that the two of us would have. A life of peace, tranquility, happiness, and no more self destructive revenge missions, or even destruction of others. That time will surely come soon in my life with Logan now. What we both need to focus on now is how we can achieve the future life we want.
