I heard him say as my attention darted back to Ghost, shocked to notice my dog walking to Logan and give his hand a few licks before going back over the rug and curling himself into a ball, letting out a sigh as he closed his eyes to sleep. “I...What did you do to him?!?” “Uh...Nothing?” He replied unsure, raising one brow as he curiously stared at me. “Then why is he acting so...friendly with you?” “I don’t know...Guess he likes me?” He casually answered with a shrug as he curiously gazed at me, my heart already starting to pump harder as he eventually dared lower his gaze and trail it all over me, making me inwardly curse myself for choosing to only wear a large t-shirt this morning.

“Because tomorrow…” I straightened the tie against his hoodie. “…you’re not dressing to impress anyone else.” I smiled. “You’re dressing to dance with me.” For the first time in a very long time… I watched every ounce of pressure disappear from Logan’s face.
