Cleo's panther sits beside us, looking down at the wolves with me, her thick tail swishing back and forth like an annoyed house cat. My wolf looks down at the beautiful black panther beside him and I feel his thoughts whirling around like a mad man inside his head. He may have been boorish and impatient, but he wanted nothing more than he wanted Cleo's panther all to himself. He saw all the other members of his pack as weak and petty. None of them could compare to his strength, so what was the point in having them by his side? They would only become a weakness, something he would have to protect from enemies trying to hurt him.

Xiao Chen exclaimed excitedly upon seeing the purple lightning flower behind the lightning deer. GROAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR…. Swisshhh BOOOOOMMMMM.. The lightning deer, sensing the presence of Xiao Chen and the black fire tiger, immediately stood up with a hostile gaze. After listening to something for a while, Rio stomped his horse back on his way without haste. Many times his eyes darted to the edge of the path he was passing. The movement in the thickets brought Rio to a halt again, his horse grunting and neighing softly. Rio drew the double-edged ax he threw onto his back. The tiger cried out—and so did Lotanni, collapsing to one knee. Gasps followed. “They’re linked—” “She’s feeling the damage too!” Lotanni bit her lip, pushing herself upright. “Keep fighting,” she whispered. The tiger lunged again, slower this time. Weaker. But its eyes still burned bright. Bryon growled and ducked under the strike. One claw raked up through the tiger’s chest, bursting the core of magic holding it together. The tiger exploded into a burst of mist and light. Lotanni screamed and fell.

Jang Mi covered her mouth with one hand when she saw various forms of ferocious demons walking valiantly in the first line of the Iron Tiger army. “Fifty rows of three tailed wolves. Fifty rows of red eyed tigers. And fifty rows of Mammoth the hairy elephant. I thought, the fortress of the Central District would collapse too easily if the enemies that came were big demons like that!” Zhou Fu muttered under his breath and Jang Mi replied with a nod as well.

It leaped back onto Xiao Chen. Xiao Chen narrowed his eyes and peered into the tunnel but detected no apparent danger. He turned to look at the Immortal Lingzhi on his shoulder and sneered. Tiger held his stomach as his face grimaced in pain. Coincidentally, there was a KFC up ahead, so Leopard parked his car in front of the entrance, and as soon as he stopped, Tiger jumped down and rushed in with the speed of a cheetah. Leopard could not help but laugh when he saw this. "What a wimp!" He was just about to smoke a cigarette when he found his cigarette case empty. Looking back at the little girl, he decided it was safe to just lock her in the car while he went off to buy cigarettes.
