Sylvie was slightly furious. "What, are you belittling me just because I'm a woman?!" Ifor smirked but ignored her as he walked straight toward Frank. In just two steps, they all heard a noisy rustle of bushes and turned to find a dozen glowing eyes glaring at them. "I-Is that a ghost?" Scar asked, afraid. "Ghost, my ass." Ifor snorted in annoyance. "There's no such thing—it must be some animal. The old man was right—there's something strange on this hill!"

She only ever cried when she was unable to sleep and was forced to think back on the interactions her dad had with her while he was still alive. Immediately, Scarlett stood from where she was sitting and faced Avery and Cornelia. "There is something I didn't tell you guys. Something strange happened to me last night, and you might not believe me when I tell you, so I will show you instead." "I'm lost. My apologies. Are you getting it?" Cornelia turned to ask Avery. She disobeys her alpha, and brings misfortune. On a new moon night, the girl was dragged into the woods by a man--"

Scarlett cried, before sniffing her nose. "How scary is it?". Amelia asked because she was tired of playing games with Scarlett. "It's very scary Mama!". Scarlett said in between tears. Amelia nods her head so that Scarlett can continue her statement. "Inside the school premises….. I do see monsters walking with their head on the floor, while their leg is in the air……. I do see some monsters changing into beasts, and they always come after me, while using a knife". The young Scarlett declared.

Just remember, if you don’t want things to go bump in the night, don’t tell anyone else about them. Even now the shadows in my room play havoc with my subconscious, so I turn the light on and sleep with one eye open. Also, when my computer starts to go on the fritz just as I write a particularly spooky part of a story, I chuck it up to chance and swallow a little harder before checking to make sure that I have only one shadow. It’s amazing that I still get so scared as an adult. You sure would have thought that for someone who makes a living scaring people, I would know better, right?

She found it funny to tell me horror stories before bed. I remembered once returning the favor. I told her about Terry the ghost, a boy who’d died in an accident on the street across from our house. Terry’s ghost wandered our neighbor’s house where his family had once lived. Mom hadn’t slept alone for weeks after that, and she never told me another horror story. My mom was like me in some ways—she was terrified of the paranormal, or anything religious. That’s why her engagement to Bill had been such a shock. But even Mom had gotten braver, so why couldn’t I?
