"Name it." "Three million... and I never see any of your faces again." I test the waters. The money won't be a problem. Kuznetsoc will pay any price to find the person responsible for pulling the trigger of the gun who shot his son and Lilith is the only clue to his riddle. It is the leaving part. He has been running the streets for over ten years. New York is his territory. His home. "Half the money and you leave the country." The grip on the glass his holding beneath his lips tighten.

And after all, how long could you pine for someone who put you second best? "Okay. You're right. Margaritas it is." The bartender has just delivered the frosty drinks when Dara nudged her and pointed to the television. "They just teased sports. It will be on right after this commercial." "But he might not be the first thing," Liz reminded her. "The sports report isn't that long. And after that teaser at noon everyone will be waiting for the interview. You'll see." She waved at the bartender. "Could you turn that up, please"

Second Shot: Choosing Silence Over Salvage

Second Shot: Choosing Silence Over Salvage

The summer afternoon sun was scorching, making me dizzy and disoriented. Before I knew it, I had arrived near the library, and my footsteps stopped as if guided by some unseen force. I stood at the library entrance and heard two security guards talking in low voices. "That shooter's aim was really accurate. It didn't seem like a random shot at all." "Exactly, I've watched the surveillance footage several times. It was like he specifically targeted that student." I felt my heart skip a beat. So, Alex's death wasn't an accidental injury—it was premeditated.

The First of Her Kind

The First of Her Kind

The realization hit Archer like a freight train: Apollo was preparing to strike. Apollo’s senses, sharp as ever, caught the approaching threat. He had one shot before the Beta and his vicious pack of wolves were upon him. He steadied his breath, closed one eye, and peered through the rifle scope with the other. His target was Amani, standing tall in the clearing, unaware of the weapon aimed directly at her heart. An instant kill. This was the longest shot Apollo had ever attempted, the kind that required flawless precision. He calculated every factor—the distance, the wind, the angle. Time slowed as Archer closed the gap, his form a blur of speed and fury. But Apollo knew this was his only c

I don’t leave reviews often but when I do it is because an author has done an exceptional job at writing a story that draws you in. This story is one of the best I’ve read on this forum from plot to character development, this story although part of a werewolf trope stands out among the rest!

This is a really beautiful book: very well written with a great plot. The descriptions are intricate & characters complex and loveable. This book deserves to be a paperback! It’s so pleasant to enjoy a gripping story with no grammar or syntactic issues. My favourite book on this platform so far!

One Point Short of Love

One Point Short of Love

Hallie Shaw lived her life judging everyone with a rigid scorecard. When we were dating, she used to say that any person or event scoring below ninety points wasn't worth a second of her time. After marriage, every single thing I did was evaluated. On our wedding anniversary, I prepared a full spread of her favorite dishes. She took one bite and said, "Eighty-nine points." Then she set down her utensils and left to share a meal with Miles, who allegedly had a poor appetite. For the company's anniversary party, I tried on twenty-seven suits, only for her to glance at me and say, "Eighty-eight points. Not suitable to bring along." That very night, she walked into the celebration with Mil

What Took You So Long

This guy can really find his way. “I think you don’t have any problem then. Would you like to go to the tent’s club to fill out the registration and advise to pass your work tomorrow?” she recommends. “So, they can just communicate to you via email if you pass their screening.” She added. The Long Road

The Long Road

Sharky's with Doug and Melissa started ok. We ordered and had had some drinks and appetizers when the beer started working on my bladder, and there was no ignoring it anymore. I had to visit the ladies' room. Rob stood up to let me slide out of the booth, but I tripped over his foot when I stood up. It scuffed my shoe, and I said, "Shoot! I love these shoes."

Hot Shot Divorce

It wasn't long before she noticed several surveillance cameras, prompting her to swiftly borrow a laptop from the film crew. Recognizing Lana as Mandy's daughter, the film crew willingly provided her with the necessary device. Seated on the ground, Lana swiftly opened the laptop and began typing with a sense of urgency. Romelius, accompanied by both the police and members of the film crew, stood behind her. They were bewildered by her sudden shift to the laptop. Five minutes later, the images on the screen sent a shockwave through everyone present. Onlookers gazed at Lana with a mix of awe and horror as she meticulously examined the surveillance footage. Their eyes reflected profound shock a

the officer said. Michelle folded her hands and her eyes met with the bullets in the pack. She took it and gazed at it. They were both shot but the bullet were different. "What's the difference between these two bullet?" She asked the officer. "Ah, the long one was shot from a sniper, the short one is a 44 magnum bullet" "Which one is more dangerous?" She asked. The doctor and the officer exchanged glances with each other. "The sniper, ma'am" the officer said.

"What do you observe in these pictures?" "That's Snipes!" Shorty was shocked. He thought there was only a picture of Pence. "What the fuck happened?" Deathrow bent and looked at the screen. "There are two gun wounds." Shorty looked at it. "You are right, Row. Look at it closer." He collected the mouse from Diggy and zoomed the picture. "There is one on the belly and the other on the forehead." He gave them time to observe the picture before clicking on the others. "Two bullet point all right. No miss. This jerk has experience with guns."
