After an unexpected miscarriage, I left my ward in search of Victor. I saw him inside the doctor’s office. Just as I was about to knock on the door, I overheard their conversation. “Give my wife a hysterectomy. Happiness is a luxury, why didn't God let me receive it, or because my fate was so unlucky that I didn't receive love and protection in the first place?
