When the Zombie Horde Came, I Built the Ultimate Shelter

When the Zombie Horde Came, I Built the Ultimate Shelter

It was protecting its children from the zombie horde. Even zombies instinctively protected their offspring. And yet my own sister spent every waking moment plotting against me. The thought left a bitter chill in my chest. Fortunately, my sadness lasted less than three seconds before my mood brightened again. Because at that exact moment, the system informed me that the zombie siege had counted as a major survival crisis. Even though I had survived partly thanks to the zombie bird’s help, I was still eligible for a special reward because of it.

Dead Weight

Dead Weight

"We did that one. Kitchen floor, a lifetime ago, you told me the pathogen wasn't natural and handed me ARBITER like a receipt you were hoping I wouldn't read. I've had population reduction and modelled collapse and containment was never the objective filed and underlined since before the dead stood up. Old news. Grieved." Correct. "This is newer and worse. Whoever wrote DECAY never closed the file. They're still at the desk. And they're counting what they've lost." Yes. "Assets, the transcript says. People say assets when they mean people they'd rather not call people." A pause. Yes. Maya sits with that. Outside, someone laughs in VIBE, muffled and warm and entirely unaware that the machine

The Luna's Lost Halo

The Luna's Lost Halo

Dylan and Leonardo rushed into the room, both shirtless and panicking—they had been awoken by Hazel's scream and were too disoriented to even think properly. "What happened? Did someone try to break in?" Dylan asked as he looked around the room to see if there had been a break-in. "I saw… there were so many dead bodies. They looked so disfigured, like they were brutally killed, and someone kept calling my name," Hazel choked out, her breathing heavy as she tried to regulate her heartbeat. "It was so dark, and then all of a sudden, it was bright, and I was surrounded by so many dead bodies," she cried, her body shivering against Leonardo. "Please don't leave me here alone."

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

Callen says slowly, “are we talking nervously, twitchy, or full-on 'I’m going to eat your brains' twitchy? Because I’ve had a long week, and I’m not surviving a zombie outbreak on top of this.” “Grow up, Callen. Zombies aren’t real,” I sigh. “Yeah, well, neither were wolf shifters a few short years ago for me, but here I am turning into one and co-running a whole damn pack of them. Meanwhile, my girlfriend literally glows and brings people back from the dead. So forgive me if I’m keeping the apocalypse on the table.” Leo shifts slightly beside me, his unease rolling through the air. “He’s got a point… do we even know if they’re still…” He hesitates, searching for the right word. “Them?”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

I'm in Survival Hell, You're in Party Heaven

Their eyes were empty, unfocused, and they were both wearing a strange, hollow smile. The rescue team leader stepped forward. "Mr. Sands? Mrs. Sands?" Dad suddenly clutched the tin of spam against his chest and shrank backward, his eyes wide. "Shh. Be quiet," he whispered, his voice shaking. "There are zombies out there. Going outside means death. "This is the last of our food. We have to ration it. We have to make it last." Mom nodded along beside him, completely serious. "One less mouth to feed. You'll get to live a few more days."

REBIRTH OF THE APOCALYPSE QUEEN: This time I choose revenge

REBIRTH OF THE APOCALYPSE QUEEN: This time I choose revenge

In her last life, all of them had turned into zombies, not a single smile; it was all blood. "Enjoy your day; you don't know if this is your last day of peace," she whispered. The blue screen appeared again; Pixie's voice sounds unusually serious. [Host] [Emotional instability indicated] Seraphina rolled her eyes. "I'm grieving." Pixcy replied, "[Grief decreases survival efficiency]." She laughed bitterly. “I'm human." For the first time, Pixy said nothing. Another blue print appeared. [Main missions updated] Accumulate enough supplies for the next seven days.

Apocalypse Rebirth: Under The Mad Dog's Protection

Apocalypse Rebirth: Under The Mad Dog's Protection

They didn't know how horrible it was to hear the screams of families being torn apart in the streets, to smell the thick, cloying scent of rot and copper that stained the air for years. To lunatics like Lucien and Daniel, they would probably find the idea of bashing zombie skulls in to be an exciting new game. But for me? I had been living a completely normal life up until the very moment the world ended. I gripped my arm hard, my nails digging into my skin through my sleeve, and bit my bottom lip. I desperately tried to shove down the traumatic, blood-soaked memories clawing their way to the surface of my mind.

Beyond You, Life Is So Much Better

Beyond You, Life Is So Much Better

"Hazel, you know that you have an injured leg. Just wait for us back at the base. Don't worry. I'll take good care of your dad for you." Curtis stood at the farthest back of the team. He looked like he wanted to say something, but thought better of it and kept his mouth shut. The wave of zombies was a lot worse than expected. The sea of rotten green zombies easily crossed the first level of defense like it was nothing. Curtis' blade was starting to get dull, and the wound on his shoulder wouldn't stop bleeding profusely. He suddenly saw that Dad was being cornered off a cliff by three zombies, and the ground was crumbling beneath his feet. Meanwhile, Archer was also surrounded by another gro

Campus of the undead

Campus of the undead

Everywhere he looked, chaos reigned. “Luke!” He spun around to see Favour, Sarah, and Collins cornered by a pack of zombies. The creatures moved with terrifying speed, their bloodied hands reaching for his friends. “Help us!” Sarah screamed, her voice breaking. Luke grabbed a broken metal pipe from the ground and charged forward, swinging wildly. He managed to take down one zombie, then another. But the swarm was relentless, and his friends were overwhelmed. Collins fell first, his screams cutting off abruptly as he was dragged into the mass of bodies. Favour tried to shield Sarah, but a zombie sank its teeth into his neck, pulling him to the ground.
