I began, my voice tinged with a blend of weariness and vulnerability, "Lotus's curiosity has grown increasingly fervent. She wishes to unravel the secrets that surround her and our unborn child. I fear that her inquiries may lead her down a treacherous path." Damon's expression softened, his brow furrowing in thoughtful contemplation. "I understand, sir," he replied, his voice measured and sympathetic. "Lotus's thirst for knowledge is unmatched, and it is admirable. However, it is our duty to safeguard her, to shield her from the dangers that may lie in wait. Perhaps, rather than suppressing her curiosity, we could guide it towards more benign avenues."

“Gideon, can you hear my heart whispering your name. Everything in my eyes is now as dark as my future. Wormwood blood tree in need of my blood has nourished the family's prosperity and it won't stop, if I don't sacrifice yourself it will kill my family members. I don't know if I should leave and I don't know if I should stay. Maybe we can't be together in this life, but Gideon, I promise to protect our child well." Lotus rubbed her hand over her stomach, the moment she felt the child's pulse, a weak but powerful beat fighting for her life. She may not be like that but she hopes the child inherited from her and from Gideon will become stronger to fight back with her life and her own freedom.

Circe spat. Lotus' eyes went wide. "That's an abomination! You cannot do that! The land has always belonged to us!" He roared. Circe smirked. "You do not seem to know your history, Alpha Lotus. . .you should have checked your family history for clarification. But it's too late for that now. You're going to die for the cause!" She roared. We watched the color drain from Lotus' face. He must have never thought that such a day would come.

From realization. Freya barely heard them. Fragments of ancient memory crashed violently through her mind now. Light. Chains. A gate sealed beneath celestial fire. Something enormous trapped beyond it. Something that hated heaven. God. Freya gasped painfully gripping Eros’s arm while another wave of visions struck. Lealla standing before the seal centuries ago. The celestial elders surrounding her. Selene begging them to wait. And then— Lealla offering her own divine essence willingly to strengthen the barrier. Freya froze completely.

Emotions had run wild between now and then; excitement, disbelief, discontent, rage, and now a thoughtful silence pervading the four walls like a thick blanket that lulls her back to the bay of sleep’s arms. Avian dips the feathered tip into the glass bottle and carefully lowers it onto the page where she had left, just beneath the grotesque sketch of an original Lycanthrope she had attempted whilst still in the throes of energy. “… Average of ten feet tall, five hundred pounds of muscle and fur that is impervious to the war instruments of man.” The high priest stands at the front left, his cheeks like emptied udders that tremble with each breath, “tapetum lucidum…” highly sensitised night v

he said coldly, leaving the garden. "What a stressed man," Dragazon commented. "I didn't recognize that the different scent was the lotus scent, but as far as I know, the gods carry the lotus scent in their blood, at least... those extinct goddesses did, or maybe it's the scent he can detect in his partner. There are so many doubts surrounding this human," Leya commented thoughtfully, watching him leave the garden annoyed. "I didn't know there was still that connection through scent," Dragazon said surprised.

LOTUS The lotus flower is a survivor; it emerges from the murky waters to seek the warmth and nutrition of light. My name is Lotus Wettin, just like the lotus flower. emerged from the murky waters, I'm a survivor but I'm confident I haven't found the warmth and sustenance of light that I require to be happy. This is the story of my life….

The blood moon seemed to be nearing its peak. Lotus sniffed as he circled the fountain, appearing deep in thought. "Why are you thinking?" I asked curiously. "I'm just wondering why she is running away from us," he replied. "Do you think she doesn't want us?" "I can't see any reason why she wouldn't want us," I replied. "I am the heir to the throne. Shouldn't it be an honor to have me as a mate?" Lotus gave me a worried look but didn't say anything more as he followed the scent outside. He seemed anxious when we exited the packhouse.

Goddess Lumia ended the narration of the whole story and looked at Vela afterwards. “Tch!” Vela just glared at her. “Wait, why did Lotus know about that? What was his relationship to the characters in the story?” Glade asked again. Goddess Lumia can’t help it but to snort and put her palm on her face. “It’s because the girl in the story is my sister and the higher-ranking goddess is our mother. Vela was the girl in the story and Goddess Lumia was the higher-ranking goddess. In other words, Vela is my sister and Goddess Lumia is our mother,” Lotus explained but the way he said his words made us even more confused.

Lotus praised me. It was my plan all along. For Jackson to take an oath with me first. I smiled proudly to myself. “What do you want? I will try my best to give it to you". He asked me “Jade, wait! The oath won't work if he hasn't taken your virginity yet". Lotus said in panic. “But I have a son already. I am not even a virgin". I replied to her telepathically. “In this world and this ancient time, you are a virgin". Lotus replied and I was surprised.
