Come on!” Cassius stands and grabs my hand to take me to the dance floor. He begins to move his body to the beat. The song “One Kiss” by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa is now playing. “May I?” He stretches his palm, seeking permission.

Lily took his hand and turned to head to the dance floor. The two drew the attention of everyone immediately they arrived on the dance floor. The music slowly changed and the two got into position. It was a Kizomba dance. Caspian’s one hand rested on Lily’s waist and the other hand held her free hand up. Lily’s other hand found comfort on his shoulder. Isabella vaguely recognizes it—maybe from a drama she watched a long time ago.

The reception area was lively as the newlywed couple and the guests partied in lively music. The old and young danced on the dance floor, swaying their bodies in the upbeat beat. Everyone was laughing merrily. The joyous atmosphere in the air was contagious that it dispelled my depressed feelings. Lucas' eyes lit up. He immediately dragged me to the dance floor. There was upbeat funk jazz music played that made even the old people dance. The guests and the newly married couple went to the center. Some were in groups laughing as they swayed together with the beat.
