The music struck loudly, causing the continuous squealing noise to echo across the great hall. Everyone covered their ears in annoyance, and then a moment later, Logan chuckled into the microphone and said, “Sorry, ladies and gentlemen. That was my bad.” Everyone laughed, including the bride and groom, who were standing in the center of the hall, waiting to start their first dance. After some tweaking, the music started. It was “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers.

Clearly he wasn’t a fan of the close proximity with drunken states. “Mi mi!” Oli grabbed my hands, “let’s dance.” He pulled me up from the seat and dragged me through the small hoard of people that decorated the lounge area. I was yanked onto the small dance floor where the music was louder and the beats were heavier. My hips instinctively moved with the sounds as the rhythm vibrated through my chest and my arms felt lighter. Oli was twisting and shuffling around the floor, weaving around other dancers letting the tunes take over him with his silly dances.

What were we watching? Before long, the monitor opened and two old women came into view. They were wearing neon green leggings and what looked to be a pink underwear outside. The underwear was worn after the leggings. The two elders started to dance in front of their television screen, making Uno roar with laughter. This was what she wanted to show me?

I do recognize them by their faces but I don’t even have any idea what their names are. I saw Jessie strutting towards the dance floor along with Lily and Alyssa. They were doing some sort of a dance move with their hands and legs and they all looked cohesive. I walked throughout the house and there’s people everywhere. The kitchen was field with the low-key people. The kind of people who wants to party without the dancing and they just want to have some meaningful conversation with their peers. The living room became the dance floor and obviously, most of the people are here. Some are grinding with each other and others are just making out as if they were the only people inside the room. I

I like it even more. These days, I only stay home on weekends. I ask the housekeeper to bring my meals to the guest room, and I spend my time reading or watching a series or a movie. The guest room is very small, so I don’t have space to dance. That’s going to make it harder for me to rehearse the choreographies I’ll learn in the introductory dance course.

With the mellow sound of the stereo, she started dancing. She was still holding his hands while she danced. She smiled at him again and lured him to dance with her. He swayed a little just so she wouldn't be upset. They dance along with the sweet music on the stereo but the way she dances has suddenly changed. It became seductive and he felt his need.

A slow Christmas song was playing in the stereo and both of them were dancing to the tune. After some time, Sophia felt dizzy. She did not even have the wine. What was happening to her?

she asked in a merry voice, looking at the faces of the ladies. “Are we doing this now?” Nina asked in amusement, leaning back into her seat to watch with a wild smile. “I used to dance salsa in college” Louisa laughed “Play a Spanish music please!” she hollered at the waiter who nodded and moved out briefly, he came back in abruptly, and soon a Spanish sound filled the air. “Show us those moves you've got Louisa,” Eve screamed out with both palms encircled around her mouth like a megaphone.

His lips twitched in something that wasn’t quite a smile. "Miss Wilfred," he greeted curtly. "Ryan." Ryan inclined his head. Sylvie nodded in return. Without another word, Lucas turned and led them inside. Sound hit first, the music was loud. Then light, flashes of color cutting through smoke and shadows. Bodies moved everywhere, pressed together, dancing without restraint. There were dancers on elevated platforms, their movements fluid and deliberate. Pole dancers twisted effortlessly, skin gleaming under the lights. Strippers moved between sections, laughter sharp and practiced.

"Shall we dance?" I reluctantly took his hand and let him lead me to the dance floor. I still hated being touched. Mostly. Okay, Clive holding my hand, and it didn't bother me at all. Actually, it doesn't matter. The thing is, I could handle it. Intimidating, not intimidated. Dark, atmospheric music had a powerful bass that invigorated the horde. Bodies bounced and darted across the dance floor. Hollis ignored the crowd around us, pulled me into a tight hug, and then started the salsa. Mouth dry, I followed suit, taking him turn after turn.
