Lupu gestured for me to step inside the room, and as I hesitated, my eyes caught a disturbing sight: a creature resembling a wolf, but chained to the wall. Its eyes glinted with a wild, feral intelligence, and its fur was matted and scarred. I shouted without thinking, "What kind of wolf is that?" but the words barely escaped my mouth.
