Novel & Cerita Louisa May Alcott 8 Cousins

She had prayed she would live long enough to see this reunion. A small hand tugged at Alice’s skirt. It was a girl of about ten, with curly brown hair and bright green eyes. "Hi. I'm your cousin Elle. Mommy said you used to be on TV." Alice knelt. "I did. But now I just like being with family." From the veranda, Cole and Alyssa appeared, followed by two teenagers—a boy and a girl. Alyssa, radiant in coral, waved at Alice. Cole grinned and gave her a thumbs-up.

Arthur's POV “I’m sorry what? What-bitch, what?” “For fuck’s sake, could you keep your voice down? Someone might hear.” Alicia said, looking at her door for reasons best known to her. She knew her mum wasn’t gonna be home in a week and her birthday was on Friday but her elder brother was coming home today and she needed to clean that house before he came home but that could wait. “You’re joking? Who? What cousin? I know half of your cousins are adults and the rest are little kids and the adults are all married, coupled up or having baby mamas and baby daddies so which cousin are we talking about?”

“We can wait at Lewis & Co. for your sister to clock out later before heading to my place for dinner. I’ll call your cousins to join us too.” Mrs. Stone then told her daughter-in-law, “Alice, let Clive know for him to cancel his social dinner tonight and come home for dinner.” “Sure.” “That reminds me, Seren. This is your oldest cousin’s wife, Alice Lafayette.” It slipped Mrs. Stone’s mind to introduce her niece to the family. Elisa was older than Serenity by a year which made her the older cousin. Serenity greeted her newfound family. Mr. Stone, her uncle, was a gentle giant while Alice, her cousin-in-law, was a straight shooter like Elisa. It was no wonder Alice and Elisa hit it off; birds

The moment the door clicked shut behind them her mother turned, eyes bright and far too knowing. “He looks at you the same way he did when you were nineteen and thought no one noticed.” Anna opened the wardrobe like the clothes inside needed rearranging. “He’s my cousin, Mum.” “Distant.” Her mother sat on the edge of the bed, smoothing the duvet. “And you’re not fooling anyone with that tone.”

Before he could respond, the doors to the sitting room opened and his cousins entered. There were four of them, all younger than him, all dressed in expensive casual wear that still screamed wealth. Lin Wei, the eldest cousin, led the pack with his usual smug smile. The others, Lin Kai, Lin Mei, and the youngest, Lin Hao, followed like eager hyenas.

Her children are also smart, but their grades are not as high as Alexa’s remarks in her graduation. Lourdes cried as she embraced her daughter and was overjoyed. She has nothing else to ask for Alexa now but her happiness for the rest of her life with the man she loves. Liza and her mother smiled at Alexa. Instead of being jealous, which is often the case, Liza’s feelings have changed. She is proud to say now that she is Alexa’s cousin. And she is proud of her achievements as well. She had gone through a lot, but she survived it.

My cousins Caleb and Braden, who happen to be twins, gawk at the sight of Alison and Madison and I sigh in annoyance. "What do you guys want?" I question. "I think the real question is, why haven't you introduced us to your lovely friends?" Caleb flashes them a smile and I look to see that Alison and Madison are both blushing. Are you kidding me? It hasn't even been two minutes and they're already falling for their charms. "Caleb and Braden, this is Alison and Madison. Alison and Madison, these idiots are my cousins," I introduce quickly. "There, now get out."

A bevy of ladies walked into the room and stopped in their tracks when their eyes met my figure. Among the ladies, I recognized my three cousins, Kathy, Lauren, and Kenny. The three craziest cousins I have ever had. They were all older than me and married too, but they never missed our family reunion gathering for anything. “Caleb?” Kenny gasped, her eyes almost bulging out of its sockets. Lauren and Kathy sprinted towards me, screaming energetically, they hopped on my body, strangling me with their weight. “Where did you disappear to? I’ve missed you like crazy!” Lauren yelled and my ear tingled from her piercing voice.

Elara possessed a quiet strength that belied her age, and her intuitive nature made her a comforting presence for everyone around her. Their cousins, Ameera and Jason, were equally delightful. Ameera, at five years old, was wise beyond her years. Her large brown eyes often seemed to see more than what was on the surface, and she had an uncanny ability to empathize with others. Ameera loved to read and often spent her time lost in books, but she never hesitated to join her cousins in their adventures, providing a steadying influence.

It was clear to her that she was no longer important in her brother’s heart. Elizabeth looked at Avery coldly and said, “Give your books to your cousin and assist her.” August asked, “Lily, what grade are you doing? Are you doing Commerce or Science?” Lily was dumbfounded. She was in the same grade as Avery. She replied annoyed, “Uncle August, why are you asking me about my grade? Do you think I am behind Avery? Unfortunately, we are in the same grade. I am doing commercial subjects.” Uncle August looked at his son and said, “Son, please assist your cousin should she need help, since you are in the same grade, and you are doing commercial subject.”
