The Unraveling of Leah Garcia
I was a bit disappointed that she hadn't told me whatever it was that was bothering her after I bared my soul to her, but trust was a gradual process and I was willing to take that journey with her.
I watched her sleep, a foreign feeling taking over me. It was like nothing I had ever felt before. It was strong, powerful, and it compelled me to speak. I knew it wasn't the right time, because she couldn't hear me, but I felt like I would choke if I didn't say it.
"I love you, Leah Garcia." I whispered, burying my face in her neck.
