The Wolf’s Fate
They were both challenging each other to prove who was the strongest.
Amoux jumped, grabbing Loup by the neck, but luckily he only grabbed the skin and fur, not causing any damage, just the pain of the bite. This was it, they were both lost in the fight, that they blacked out, charging against each other like rabid dogs.
Fur here, blood there and the occasional yelping after a growl took over the silent night.
‘Stop, Loup. No more!’ I ordered him to stop. He froze in place, shaking his head and getting out of the trance, but Amoux didn’t stop. He charged one last time, injuring us gravely.
