“Tell me, Aurora,” he said in a quiet voice, staring intently into her eyes. “Are you falling in love with that man all over again?”
Aurora pushed him away as the meaning of his words sank in. “Are you crazy?! What the hell are you saying? Did someone spike your drink too?” she yelled, frowning.
“But you’re going all good-good with the man,” Easton retorted.
“Good-good? What the hell are you ranting about? We’re allies, and that’s all we’ll ever be—nothing more, nothing less,” she snapped.
