My Bully
Without any hesitation, I pulled her close to me and wrapped my arms around her, hoping that my hug would bring her some solace.
I could feel the pain in River's voice as she spoke. Her tears were falling fast and she looked heartbroken. I knew exactly how she felt because I've been there too.
As I patted her back and whispered, "It's ok, River," I felt my own tears begin to well up.
"I miss you so much…" she said through sobs.
"I just want to see you and hug you, but you're far away from me. I don't love anyone except you."
