There is much to be said for books. They can help you learn and educate yourself, or they can tell stories to excite the imagination. A book can teach you how to become just about anything. I, however, don’t get to read a lot of fiction. My parents were technology based people. They believed that the best way to learn was over the internet, watching tutorials and videos. Although I do believe this, there is a lot I could have learnt from reading. I’ve noticed there is a lack of emotional connection between myself and others. This was a question I couldn’t answer so I let it be. My legs carried me to the bookshelves once again, totally blown away by all of the interesting reads I had to myself. I took my time, admiring each collection with my fingers skating across them on the shelves while reading their titles. I wanted to read one. My day had been chaotic and there was nothing I’d love more than to pick a good romance book, settle in bed, and read until I fell asleep. It was one of my favorite hobbies and the way I usually spent my nights on weekends, after a stressful week of attending classes and working my ass off to pay my bills.

Amazing, what is a better way to distract yourself than reading some dark romance books filled with smut. I got in the library and instantly felt a bit calm. Grabbing my favourite four books I got seated in a cosy comfortable corner, and started reading. An hour later I closed the fourth book in my hands as I groaned frustratingly. For god sake what's wrong with me? I couldn't even read a single book completely. I tried to read them for fifteen minutes and then put them aside while picking up another book. All of these books are my fucking comfort favourite books that I have re-read for so many times. The books whose MMC are my, to heart, book boyfriends.
