The man braved, knocking his index on the vanity table so that it rattled dramatically as I felt my heart drop out from between my legs. “Are you saying-” I gasped, keeping over with wonder as my thoughts collided in my head. “Yes Nola, I’m saying the Lycan called the moon from it’s orbit and drained the life out of it. Not even a star in sight.” The man’s eyes flashed and appeared to shift in the darkness as I forced myself to peer beyond the window panes into the bottomless terror of night.

I shot Lobo a smile, noting the way he was staring daggers at Lowell. Lowell bumped his shoulder against mine, "It's all going to be okay.
