Loyalties Characters Novels & Stories

I prayed it wasn’t what he was insinuating. Because I was going to slaughter a motherfucker and everyone they shared a DNA with. Anything I could handle. Thieves I could forgive. Bloody backstabbers… Understandable. A rat, however… That was one thing I would never forgive. In this life I lived, loyalty was the first thing. The rest followed! “Who else knew about the plan?” I crossed my arms across my chest, wanting to know just where the fuck I went wrong. If there was one thing in this life I was certain of was that I would not dispatch a horde of wolves after my woman.

Pierced their fucking brains, one after the other with a bullet, and then he spoke to me, telling me I could go. We were young back then, sixteen? Seventeen? I couldn't quite put a finger on it. Yet amidst all that, I knew how hard things could have been without him. Only when I didn't leave, I saw a broken boy, a boy without a soul…He was lost and needed all the companions he could get. I had watched as he killed those men, not a single fear. Hesitation or remorse on his face and then I pledge my loyalty to him, there and then.

After eating and swimming, The children played amongst each other and Tiana and James just rested looking at each other. "Thank you." James said looking deep into her eye. "Thank you too Papi." Tiana smiled and over the years he was still in love with her smile. Nothing could ever change that. "Beautiful mf." He said as she stood up to check on Doyin and Daniel who went to check something since. "Sexy mf....Mmmmm" She dragged biting her lips and he laughed at her. She was his everything and he was hers. Nothing would come between them,he swore he was going to be LOYAL to her and she promised to do the same. Fuck anybody else! Love, Loyalty and Unending Queen treatment that's what he was goin

“And you think being Alpha means you can keep pushing us until we break? We’re all carrying weight here, Rhett. I make mistakes, but I’m still loyal.” Loyal. That word dug into me, sharp and irritating. If he was loyal, why did I feel like I was constantly questioning everyone around me? Why did I feel like I was standing in a house with walls full of cracks, everyone chipping away at it instead of helping me patch it? “Don’t lecture me about loyalty,” I hissed, stepping close again, my breath hot between us. “You prove loyalty by being present. By not disappearing when everything falls apart. If you can’t handle that, maybe you shouldn’t be my Beta.”

The outpost below her moved differently now. Not faster. Not easier. But owned. People stood inside what they were doing. They didn’t lean away from it. They didn’t pretend it was something else. Loyalty was no longer quiet. It didn’t sit in the background, waiting to see which way things would turn. It had stepped forward. Chosen to be seen. And once it did that, it couldn’t return to what it had been. Lyra stood there, watching it hold. Not because she was holding it. Because it had learned to stand. And whatever came next would test that.

“Dating back to the nineteenth century. For such an old pack to have survived this long, the Bloodcrest have always been ruthless. Cold-blooded killers when necessary.” Her eyes flicked to me, testing. “Loyalty,” she continued, “is the single most important thing to this family.” I nodded carefully. “Right. Loyalty. I can do that.” Her lips curved, but it wasn’t a smile. It was amusement mixed with pity. “Can you?” I swallowed. “Look, if this is about me snitching, I won’t. Okay? I’ll keep my loyalty to Alpha Luther. I promise.” Cosette’s expression didn’t change. Then, suddenly — slam! — her palm hit the table so hard it echoed.

I pointed at Keyu, then back to him, Dax, "this life you’ve built, there’s no loyalty. Only betrayal. Only fear. Only animals foaming at the mouth.” Keyu chuckled darkly and took a step closer. “Feisty. I like it. But I think you misunderstand,” he murmured smoothly. “Loyalty isn’t what you think. It’s about power, sweetness.” He turned to glance at Dax. “And Dax? He’s the one holding all the power now.” A suffocating sense of claustrophobia wrapped around me, choking me. Two men trapping me, one consumed by vengeance, the other driven by whatever twisted desires fueled him. Neither of them cared about me. Neither of them cared about anything except their ambitions.

He picked up the branding iron and placed it in the burning fire “Bound by loyalty, bound by blood and bound by oath. I renounce my title and bestow the power I inherited from our predecessors on a new legacy.” He flipped open the book of oaths.” I renounce my oath to Lead and serve Zenturio as head and swear my loyalty as Lord.” He picked up the branding iron and walked over to me ,the book still in his hands. I took a deep breath , preparing myself for the burning pain. “ With our symbol carved into the hearts ,We serve in Loyalty and in ashes.” The crowd echoed.” We serve in Loyalty and in Ashes.” And he pressed the hot iron in my skin ,right into my heart, craving the symbol of a rose on

Rhea Morreti, the female lead and the daughter of a Sicilian gang member; was meant to be a silent spy and was planted in the Vitale family to dismantle them from within, under the guise of an arranged marriage with Adriano Vitale, the son of a rival gang leader. But when her own brother, Dante, exposes her to further his own agenda, she becomes the scapegoat for a war she never planned to fight alone. Marked for execution, she barely escapes with her life—only to return stronger, deadlier, and carrying a secret that could shake the very foundation of their world. Even though Adriano Vitale never wanted the marriage, he didn’t want Rhea dead, especially since they had fallen for each other.

Now, I lay on my bed, thinking. People think loyalty is born out of duty. That it comes from oaths, from bloodlines, from the fear of what happens if you disobey. Maybe that’s true for most. But not for me. My loyalty to Kol wasn’t a product of fear. It wasn’t even obligation. It was love. The quietest kind. The kind that didn’t speak, didn’t ask neither did it demand. The kind that watched from the shadows and protected what it could never have. Kol doesn’t know. He probably never will. And if he does, well. He’s never said anything.
