Accidentally Marked By The Lycan King

Accidentally Marked By The Lycan King

“I don’t get that luxury.” Night fell heavy over our lands. Funeral fires burned low and controlled. No wailing. No public rage. Just quiet mourning. Quiet fury. I stood alone at the edge of the clearing long after the others had withdrawn. This was the war I had hoped to prevent. Not grand battles. Not open declarations. But surgical loss. They thought pressure would fracture loyalty. They misunderstood something fundamental. Loyalty forged in choice did not break under threat. It only hardened. I turned towards the central hall.

I said coldly. I turned away from him, looking out over the courtyard below. The pack moved like a living thing, unaware of the rot that had crept too close to its heart. Loyalty like Alessia’s wasn’t born from fear alone. It was built on belief. On the illusion that someone was worth burning for.

Dominic and Aria finally made an appearance. Liked Dominic’s advice to Marcel and I hope that Aria gets to talk to Lia and share her experience with her about scheming people around her and staying strong and standing with for herself.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

After 100, loyalty had three color tiers: red, purple, and gold. Red stood for Blazing Devotion, purple was Unbreakable Oath, and gold meant Eternal Bond. Griffin's loyalty was only 59, which wasn't even enough to unlock his special ability. Hayley wanted to strangle this natural-born troublemaker who clearly intended to betray her. Nobody in their right mind would keep this person. Still, he was only one point short of the minimum threshold, and his half-zombie trait was too valuable to pass up. "What do you like? I'm the captain. I'll make sure you get something nice for joining our team," Hayley said, hoping to boost his loyalty.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

He didn’t answer. “Loyalty is emotional. It’s reactive. It bends when pulled too tight. Strategy… that’s what lasts.” I leaned forward slightly, my voice dropping. “You’ve tried so hard to be loyal, Elias. To Valerie. To your Alpha. But it’s time to stop pretending that loyalty serves you better than ambition. You have tried so hard to protect your sister, but you know for a fact that things do not work like that. If a man like you had managed to kill his father to rise to power, I believe that your sister is nothing more than a game. That is something that you should be holding on to. A thought, a strength and peace on your board that you should consider playing on.”

A Deal with Her Mafia Son-in-law

A Deal with Her Mafia Son-in-law

I protected the man who protects me. I stood my ground. And even though Hale is attractive in that older, thoughtful, dangerously insightful way, leaving his orbit feels like stepping out of a trap disguised as concern. Desire is one thing. Loyalty is another. Today, loyalty wins. I take a breath and open the reading assignment for my English class. As I read, I think about Lady Macbeth. She’s seen as manipulative, power-hungry, cold. But as I read more something in her resonates.

Twisted Loyalties

Twisted Loyalties

Rhea Morreti, the female lead and the daughter of a Sicilian gang member; was meant to be a silent spy and was planted in the Vitale family to dismantle them from within, under the guise of an arranged marriage with Adriano Vitale, the son of a rival gang leader. Even though Adriano Vitale never wanted the marriage, he didn’t want Rhea dead, especially since they had fallen for each other.

“Survival is my play. If Conan wants to march into a death trap, that’s his choice. But I’m not dying for his pride or his war.” With a trace of respect in his gaze, Thorne nodded slowly . “Ok, fair enough. But survival’s a lot easier with allies.” “Is that your pitch?” Raven’s tone was stern when she asked. “Team up with you and split the prize?” Thorne laughed and said. “Not exactly. I just figure we’re both smart enough to know that loyalty in this place is a luxury no one can afford. Watching each other’s backs doesn’t mean we have to like each other.”

My Mafia Savior

My Mafia Savior

An empire where loyalty meant protection, not death. Their love story had become the heartbeat of the Family, a rhythm that pulsed through the very veins of our organization. It was a tale of hope in a world where loyalty was often measured in bullets and blood. Selena and I had become the embodiment of a new era, a promise of peace in a city that knew only the language of fear.

I asked, curious despite Sydney’s obvious ire. “Mine wasn’t so much…a bribe,” Jayden said, reluctant in his explanation. “She pulled the loyalty card.” “What loyalty card?” Sydney asked, demanding we be given more than vague responses that could scarcely pass for excuses on their own. She wouldn’t let it die, not until she’d gotten to the very end and could find more ammunition to rip into them. Jayden shrugged, drawing for a nonchalance he didn’t truly feel. “You know…the whole best friends since kindergarten…secret sharing…summer night star gazing…putting friends before lovers… ‘you owe me more than you owe her’. That kind of thing.”

Rebirth of the Wounded Luna

They understood the significance of loyalty, recognizing that it was the glue that bound them in times of both triumph and adversity. "Our loyalty to one another is what sets us apart," Alpha Aurora continued. "It is not simply a matter of following orders or abiding by hierarchy. True loyalty runs deeper—it is an unwavering commitment to the well-being of our pack, to the greater good that we strive to achieve together."
