I could not tell if it was safe to trust him. Lucas guided me to the booth. The man did not move. He waited. Lucas set my phone on the table, face down. He slid the messages across. The man reached out. His hand emerged from the sleeve. The cap tipped back. My breath caught in my throat. It was a guy dressed in black hoodie with black joggers and his face was all covered up. I could barely see any other thing on him apart from this His eyes were hard. His lips were pressed into a thin line. He did not smile. He did not speak.

“Why? What color did you wear?” “Orange. Shit, we look like prisoners when we gathered in the auditorium.” We were laughing when Lucas came. He’s wearing a yellow t-shirt and denim pants. He’s wearing suspenders, making him look like a minion. He’s holding thick folders which were tuck under his arm. “What are you laughing at?” he asked. “Nothing that concerns you, Kevin.” Luna winked at him. Lucas made faces. His hair is messy but he looks just fine. I’m not checking on my friend’s man, mind you. He’s just too attractive that will make anyone do a double-take when he passed by.
