I said with anger laced within my voice. I then signalled them to go before killing off some steam in the underground dungeon where I could torture some wolves we've caught. Lucas was still looking at as she drove and he wasn't doing a good job of not making it obvious. Nicole looked across to him severally as she drove, smiling at how his attention was fixated only on her before she busted out laughing. "Why are you looking at me like that?", she said to him, blushing and laughing. Lucas didn't say anything as he gently sniffed the air in the car. It was covered with her sweet vampire scent. "You seem like someone popular, like a famous celebrity", she said smiling. "Yes, I'm an actor and a model", he said, as he and his brothers just started their acting and modeling careers with the agent Perez.

The doctor said the moment Lucien left. “By the way I am Liam, I am a doctor and Lucien is like brother to me, he is my family.” The doctor introduced himself. I nodded at him. I had already guessed that the two might have a close relationship from how casual they interacted. “sister-in-law, where are you hurting?”

He obviously knows me; no one but family calls me Alex. "God damn, you look hot." Before I can respond, he pulls me against his chest, wrapping both arms around my middle. He smells fantastic, like a mix of earth and spice. When I pull away, his buddy comes up behind him, slapping him on the back. "You about ready to go Chris?" Then he makes eye contact with me. "Ha-ha! Well, I'll be damned. It's little Alexandra Carpenter." I instantly recognize my older brother's best friend from high school. He's one of the unlucky ones who never escaped.

But before she could tell Skyler to get away from the red eyed stranger, she heard Chris asking Skyler to get away from him and was already pointing his gun at the stranger and her eyes widened in fear. “Okay, meet me at the hideout at noon. Come undetected. “ I instructed. I gave him directions to the hideout. “Copy that. “ he said. Minutes later, a stranger arrived at the hideout. I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. He turned the screen toward me, realizing it was a message from an unknown number. "You can’t run forever. Ask your father why." While staring at the message the elevator doors opened, Lucas and I stepped out as his expression was unreadable. And as we reached the car, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a man I didn’t recognize, but Lucas clearly did. “We need to talk,” the stranger said, his tone deadly serious.

It’s safe. At least, I hope. When I knock on the door, it opens before I can speak. A man stands there. Lucas, the top agent of the International Crime Division, stood and stared at the panoramic view, his face stern. “Copy that, sir.” Just as he turned to leave, his phone buzzed. His lips curled when he read the name on the screen. “Hello,” he answered. “Hey, Luke! Remember Charlie? My fiancé that you don’t like? I have some good news for you…”
