My knees trembled at Lucifer's stare. "W-what do you want?" I asked. Lucifer wasn't one of the friendly and fun-loving angels in the Kingdom. He was the most devious species that ever existed to the point that everyone here was doing their best to avoid him. He playfully smirked. "Guess what." I looked away, I couldn't even stand his creepy grin.

Then it was gone, leaving him breathless and shaken. "Open it, read it, my son," the voice behind him commanded him. He opened the book, its pages whispering like the rustle of wings. The script glowed faintly, the words arranging themselves into a story that unfolded in his mind. Lucian was taken aback by everything written on; he was not merely a human as he had known, but the son of Lucifer, born in the infernal realms. His powers had been vast and were feared many years ago because he was second in command in hell, but his heart had been his undoing.

Hell, maybe he could even get his own spinoff. Leah flitted off to work with an extra cinnamon roll, and I was left alone in the apartment. It was still morning yet, so I had time to kill. I elected to curl up on the couch with one of the lycan books Blair sent with me. It was unusual to get a book from Blair that was not old, leather bound, and smelled of dust and aged paper. This one was the most interesting by far because it was a paperback that looked to be written within the past decade or so. It looked too… normal. It had a publishing date and everything.

Lucian stated and shoved the newspaper and magazine into her hand. Eva raised her brow at the unreputable pictures that were being published by the reputable publishing companies. The hell is this? “It's that damned Sander heir." Lucien sparted out angrily with his face filled with irritation. He was going to kill that bastard! “I bet that bastard did something to do this!" Lucian added, pointing accusing fingers at the magazine paper. “Lucien!" Laura, who had walked out of another room, called out, “Your language is improper!" She added frowning at her only son.

He reeked of good intentions and I felt even more obligated about letting Grace go to have her happiness. "Let me give you my business card again so we can have a meeting in regards to what I can do for you," she said quickly as she dug through her Coach purse in search of her business card. The company specialized in advanced biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, making significant strides in medical research and treatments. "We need to discuss the next phase of our expansion," Lucifer said, his authoritative voice filling the room. "Our recent breakthrough in genetic therapy has the potential to revolutionize the industry. I want a detailed plan on how we can leverage this to strengthen our market position."

She asked. Lucifer shot her a glare, a deep dark evil glare that told her to shut up, but she just rolled her eyes. “You're being ridiculous, you know that, don’t you Lu.” “NO, I’M NOT!” Lucifer yelled. “SHE’S A FUCKING SUCCUBUS NOT A WEREWOLF SO SHE SHOULD ACT LIKE ONE!!” “Lu if she just wants to sleep with her husband, then that’s her problem.” “I don’t want my daughter to slowly die of starvation because she didn’t get enough energy from that damn wolf.”
