I mused. “Indeed. King Roman Desmond.” The witch queen nodded, “Luna Lillian was a friend of mine, long ago. I met her through her aunt, Tasha.” My eyes snapped to her, but I said nothing. King Roman spoke again then, “Lady Alessia, let me introduce my mate, Elena. Our daughter Alexia, and our sons Dimitri and Damon.” I continued to smile as my eyes swept over them, landing on Dimitri, making eye contact with him. Again, there was a tickling in my mind. Azai growled lowly. “Stay out of my mind, bloodsucker.”

His face showed a satisfied look at her bravery. “I believe you won’t lick your own spit,” she said in a respectful tone that sounded more like sarcasm. She held back his emotions when she felt he was buying time to toy with her longer. However, it stopped in an instant when he said word after word. “I, Leoniel — the Great Demon Lucifer, swear not to tell any lies to Felenia Sashenka Henzie as long as she is still breathing. If I tell a lie, my soul — as well as my existence will disappear forever from the demon world and the afterlife. No leaving even a shard of soul.”

At no time did he have any thoughts of revenge. "What are you waiting for? Smother him with the pillow," whispered Lucifer, with a wicked laugh. "What?," Replied Jonah in surprise and then added" I won't do that, I don't want to. "All right, I will take revenge for you," said Lucifer calmly. He thundered his fingers, and Alfredo woke up startled. He did not even see Lucifer because his eyes were focused on Jonah, the deformed boy he had killed. Lucifer moved his hand to hit the wall and stood in front of him, poking his heart out. All this before the astonished look of Jonah.

“I just wanted a little family reunion. Where is that rascal called Kael anyway.” We stood there, frozen, watching him disappear inside like he owned the entire place. “Who… who is that man?” My voice came out shaky, barely above a whisper. Mrs. Halloway closed her eyes for half a second, like she was bracing herself. When she opened them, they were sad. Resigned. “Lucien is Kael’s brother,” she said quietly. “Another Lycan. And twice as dangerous.” Brother. The word hit me harder than his stare had.

I yelled, pulling myself from the mattress to the headboard. My inner wolf was beckoning on me to run, not see him as my mate. "I-I'm looking for Damon! I need to see Damon!" The smile disappeared from his face, going cold completely. He froze, his hand hanging in the air. The heat rose in the room, and I felt it set on me. "Damon?" he repeated, his voice soft in a strange way. "The Alpha who rejected you? Is that your first thought after giving birth to my children?" His sudden rage overwhelmed him. The power aura rolling off him was thick, and I felt like I was suffocating.

It was then that I realized that Levi’s purple magic was still wrapped around Remiel, acting as a shield against Eve’s spell. Remiel’s eyes widen in understanding as he swings them over to where Lucifer stands, leaning against a pillar nearby. “Thank you Uncle.” He tells him sincerely. “I don’t know what happened, but if I am here then I know you stopped me from being taken away.” He bows his head slightly. “I owe you a debt. Lucifer snorts, brushing his words off with the sweep of his hand. “What is family for if not to save you from evil women?” Lucifer’s attempt at a joke missed its mark by a mile when his voice cracked at the end.

Lucifer smiled at her. "I'm showing you that I don't make empty threats and for the second question, well you'll see". He replied. The door opened and Kemuel stepped out. He eyed Lucifer and the three angels in front of him and he opened his mouth in shock. The rebels were alive and so was Nahamani. "Nahamani?!" He called. Nahamani shook her head. "No, close your door. Please run away". She said. Lucifer scoffed at her. He then pushed Kemuel into his home and sealed the door so one could come in.

She knew he was out of control and could sense his intention to harm her. Desperate, April began to speak, her voice trembling but clear. "Lucifer, remember who you are. Remember us. Remember me, April. We were friends, we shared so much. Don’t let this darkness consume you." For a moment, Lucifer paused. His monstrous form hesitated, and his glowing eyes flickered. April continued, recounting memories of their time together, the moments of kindness and connection they had shared. Slowly, the monstrous features receded, and Lucifer’s human form began to reappear.
