When he got to find out the whole story, He turned out that he was the product of the stupid mistake that his parents made when they were younger so his mom hated him right from birth as she believed that he ruined her life. But did he? He's just an innocent child who deserves the love and care from both parents which he didn't get and well this bitterness was what lead him to be a Playboy. Oh, Playboy stories. As I continued reading, I got so engrossed that I lost track of time and by the time I finished reading, Four hours had passed and it's already two hours away from the Closing period. The book is a mini short novel with just 70 chapters but yeah, it was worth reading.

This fight is taking longer then I’d imagine it would and I’m loosing energy. As I watch him struggle to his feet I can’t help but wonder how we can be so evenly matched without our powers. Zviad staggers on his feet spitting out blood “You think someone like you could keep me down with a punch like that?” he begins laughing “We’re just getting started.”

With a slow gesture, Julian slipped his hand into his coat pocket and pulled out the book she had given him days ago. The one she thought he'd probably forgotten. He placed it carefully on the counter between them. "I finished it," he said. Lena's eyes fluttered closed. "You. did?" He nodded. "And?" Julian's jaw tightened. "It made me angry." She took a breath. Not the reaction she'd expected. "Why?" "Because the protagonist ran," he said, voice low and rough. "He lost something. Someone. And instead of fighting. he gave up. He fell in on himself. He wasted the second chance he was given."

His friend is a goner, he has fallen for his so-called sex slave. Guys, please support me by voting, loving, commenting, and dropping reviews. I can't feel your love for this book which is a total turn-off for me. If I stop updating regularly don't blame me for it

But all I could think about was the stupid book that ruined everything. Yeah, I still remembered it. Level Up My Cold CEO. What a ridiculous name. A cold CEO, a foolish secretary, betrayal, humiliation, and some weak-faced protagonist who still won in the end. I dropped it halfway because I couldn’t stand the secretary character. He was scheming, desperate, and pathetic—a perfect punching bag for the story. He betrayed the CEO, got caught, and ended up ruined. I hated that character. I hated how spineless he was, how he clung to a man who despised him. I even cursed him in the comments before deleting the app I had downloaded for inspiration.

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.
