Leah's unwitting confession was enough to sober us all immediately.
“You work at The Succubus?” I asked.
I was vaguely familiar with the club. It was a place I had been keeping an eye on for a few months, but it had never seemed like it had crossed the line into being a threat. If they were employing humans, and supposedly had human patrons, it meant they should be expecting a visit from me soon.
“What? It's good money,” she shrugged.
“And exceptionally morally ambiguous,” I scoffed.
