she said between bites, “my mother used to be a Blessed Luna here. People loved her—worshipped her, even.” I blinked, startled. “Wait, what? Your mother was from here?” She nodded, licking the frosting off her thumb with childlike delight. “Mm-hmm.” “But… isn’t she from Blue Whale? That’s what I heard.” Dorian snorted. “Blue Whale? That’s where Draven’s mother came from. Not mine.” My mind scrambled to keep up. “Draven’s mother…?” I furrowed my brows. “But I thought you and Draven were full siblings?”

Lucas prods, hugging us both. “Queen Kimarhi of Lion Island,” I exclaim proudly, looking between him and Mother. “Wow, brother!” Lucas says, wide-eyed and shocked. “And now both my boys will be kings! Your father must be so proud,” Mother yells, strangling us now. “Yes, he is, and he requested I bring you to the summit to be by his side and meet My Kimarhi.” “Very well,” she scooches us off her and straightens herself. “Link Rieka for me, and I will prepare us to leave.” Mother can link us and Father, but she can’t connect with the rest of the clan.

she roared. Luka gulped and swallowed. That is why his mother was here before the month has ended, she heard about what he wanted to do. “Well, mother, I...” She did not let him finish as she slammed the pan, she was holding hard on the kitchen counter. “You what huh? The Moon Goddess blessed your demon ass with a mate and you reject her?” okay! She was really angry.

“Healthy, strong heartbeat. And with Alpha lineage from both sides? This child will be formidable.” Link beamed with pride, but when he looked at Lilly, his smile faltered. She wasn’t smiling back. She sat still, pale, eyes distant. “What is it, baby?” Link asked softly, moving to her side. Lilly stared at her hands. “I don’t remember ever being a mother. I don’t even remember... loving you.” The confession hung in the sterile air, heavy and raw. Maren, ever respectful, stepped back, silently preparing a blend of teas for nausea on her digital console. Link dropped to his knees in front of Lilly, his hands resting on her thighs.

"My parents aren't Lycans. Although I didn't get the chance to spend time with my father, I was told of his bravery when he was young. And as for my mother, I can completely beat my chest and cross my heart that my mother, Reika— the midwife of Nightfall pack— is a complete wolf, not a Lycan. She's not a thief, neither is she an infiltrator or spy." "You can ask around, my mother is a sweet and beautiful soul with a heart of gold and I am hers even though I don't understand how or why I became a Lycan—maybe only the moon goddess has the answer to that. But I won't sit back quietly and have you insult my mother." she added. I noticed how the glint in her eyes darkened as she spoke. She was so

she advised before I headed out. Driving to the venue specified by Laxus' mother, I began to doubt my decision. Maybe I shouldn't have come. "Tyra!" I jumped as Laxus' mom tapped on my car window. Stepping out, I embraced her warmly. "Thank you for giving us the opportunity to see you again," she expressed, melting my heart. Mrs. Laura Villafuerte was genuinely kind, showing no hostility unlike Mika. Inside the venue, all eyes were on me. Spotting Mr. Michael Villafuerte, I greeted him too.

Lylah stated. “I kinda figured that.” Storm responded. “I guess we need to make sure we find them.” Lylah said. “I guess, I mean I’m not all that gun-ho to watch my mother…” “She’s not our mother, she never was!!!” Lylah snapped as she interrupted me before I could finish my statement. “I know but she’s the only mother I’ve ever known that I remember.” Storm sighed. Lylah frowned, “whatever, I’m going to take a nap. Call if you need me.” Lylah yawned and receded to the back of Storm’s mind.

My Mama doesn't want to go back to the Philippines since she found out that her friend died in a tragedy that traumatized her even though she was in Japan that day and was recovering from her illness." Shuji said as he turned to look at Lixue. "I know what you're referring to, Shuji because the godfather told his aunt what happened to my mommy, they are close friends even though they have different backgrounds," Lixue replied.
