CHAPTER 41: Snake in the Water The sun spilt gold across the rippling surface of the pool, dancing like flames upon the water. Luigi leaned back against the edge, his elbows hooked lazily over the smooth marble. The dark sunglasses perched on his nose hid the calculating gleam in his eyes. Two female escorts that he had gotten from his nightclub laughed beside him. Each one flanked him on both sides, sucking the skin of his neck and making lewd noises in his ear—both their hands, trailing up his thigh like a silent question.

Willow's POV It was Luigi. My heart skipped a beat when I saw him. In all the chaos, I’d forgotten that Luigi had been outside the house the entire time. “I said, let her go,” Luigi repeated. Big D and the henchmen were momentarily stunned when they saw Luigi appear. They hadn’t expected anyone to suddenly intervene like this, nor to speak to them so brazenly. I could only assume, but I figured none of them were used to being ordered around, which was exactly what Luigi was doing.

*** Once we got back to the resort patio, Luigi was already striding toward me like I'd been gone a century. "Where'd you go for so long? I was just about to look for you," he asked, his tone light but his eyes sharp, scanning me like he could tell something was off. I smiled, lifting the small bowl of grapes I'd grabbed from a fruit stand along the path. "Just picking up fruit," I said, plucking one and pressing it between his lips. He ate it without breaking eye contact. Behind us, I heard Leo's chair scrape against the deck. He stood and walked over, Anna trailing behind him, her fake resort smile slipping the moment she saw Luigi and me.

Mutya said firmly. Mutya was about to attack him but he was met by Luigi's minions. Luigi's minion is also inexhaustible and will torture you before you get near the master. Mutya is so angry that she unforgivably kills any enemy she meets. Jared and Fe have also arrived at Luigi's location and have cornered him. The battle is now three versus one. Luigi was so shocked that when Fe and Jared rushed to him, Mutya turned to Luigi's back and stabbed her with a silver knife. She stabbed her father three times and looked at Luigi with satisfaction while holding the silver knife she used to stab him.

Steph laughs at his statement despite of the pain she is having through, “where are we going to eat ba?” she asked. “We are going to eat there,” Luigi pointed at the fast food chain across the street where a lot of chairs and table are setup near it. Luigi brought her there and helps her with her seat, they choose to eat outside the fast-food since they both want to breathe the fresh air that surrounds them. They ordered two sets of tapsilog, hot chocolate, and king burgers, they orders were set on their table after a few minutes.

It was annoying at times, but it was easy to take advantage of it sometimes. Not expecting it, Luigi quickly took a step back. I chuckled quietly, taking another step forward, smiling to myself when Luigi stood firmly where he was. I stopped when both our toes were touching. Other men were also working out around us, but I didn't pay much attention to them as I went on with my plan. I looked up at Luigi, batting my lashes as I pouted at him. "Please." As expected, his eyes dropped to my breasts and he swallowed. His loyalty to his boss must've been strong though, because he averted his eyes, taking a step back. "I can't go against Alessandro's orders."

Travis Point of View From my seat, I could clearly see the clustered employee as they forced Luigi to come down. He said he planned to commit suicide when I did not show up. "Tell Travis I'm going to kill myself if he doesn't show up today!" Luigi's shout frightened the other employees. I took a good look at Luigi and from what I could see he really had no plans to jump. He's scared of heights afterall.
