I planted my palms against his wet chest, pushing with everything I had, my heels skidding on the slick wooden floor of the gazebo. “Caspian, stop, let go of me!” I yelled against his mouth, but he was a brick wall. He caught my wrists in one hand, pinning them high above my head against the rough wooden beam behind me, his body slamming into mine until the rain-soaked fabric of his shirt flattened against my chest. “No,” he rasped, his lips moving bruisingly against mine, tasting of cold rain and frantic, unchecked fire. “You heard us. I know what you heard, Daisy, and I’m not letting you run away from it.”

He crossed his legs and adjusted himself on the chair, preparing to witness what would happen. Daisy's heart raced with each step towards the door. She had a strange feeling that something strange was about to occur. On opening the door, she held her breath, then she saw Lucas on the other side, holding a bouquet of roses. Standing at the entrance, she blocked Lucas from entering and, despite seeing the flowers, she said, "Sir, what do you want? I have a visitor, and we were occupied..."

Kaiden's eyes darken with intensity as he takes in my reaction. "Don't worry, pyrkagiá", he whispers, his breath caressing my skin. " I won't hurt you... yet." Kaiden's gaze holds me captive and I feel like I'm drowning in their depths. His hand leaves my face as he steps back abruptly. A sly smile spreads across his face. "So tell me, Daisy", he says, his tone tinged with curiosity. "What did you hope to achieve by escaping?" "I wasn't escaping", I reply shakily

Xavier smiled. “You should go.” Lucas looked at him. “You think?” “You've spent the entire day dealing with secrets and dangerous people.” Xavier paused. “Maybe you need one evening where you're just Lucas.” Lucas didn't respond. But the words stayed in his mind. Maybe he did. “Take me to Daisy's place.” --- Thirty minutes later, Lucas arrived. He walked toward the entrance and knocked. The door opened almost immediately. Daisy stood there wearing a simple oversized shirt and comfortable trousers.

He smiled and replied with a mischievous tone, "How can I hold a grudge on such a pretty lady? I can die for you in every match, Daisy." Daisy, biting her lower lip, replied, "Shut up. You don't die yourself. Everytime I kill you with my skill, Mr. Lucifer." Then dodging his hand, Daisy started walking towards the dance floor, holding Helen's wrist and dragging Helen alone with her. Lucas laughed out loudly like a child. Both Helen and Dean (Lucas's closest friend and only one who used to know about every secret of Lucas) were shocked seeing such a rare side of Lucas. It was really rare to see Lucas smiling so heartily.

His slate-gray eyes seemed to see right through her, and she wondered if that had always been the case and she was just too stupid to have noticed. She wet her lower lip, a nervous habit she couldn't seem to break. "Hello, Rick." His gaze raked over her in blatant assessment. "You're looking even more lovely than I remembered." Beside her, she felt Killian tense and slipped her hand into the crook of his arm, hoping to calm him. He thrust out his hand. "Killian Walker. Lexie's husband." For a moment, she was sure Rick would embarrass all of them by refusing the gesture but then he took Killian's hand in a brief shake.

Swallowing the lump in my throat, I peeped through the window. "Please, leave me, I beg for the mercy!" Daisy was on her knees and begging Luther who was sitting on the couch and sipping his wine. His lips were twisting into a smirk as if he was watching a circus. "Do you?" Luther said, his smirk grew wider. "Please...." Daisy cried harder. "Please..don't kill me..." And an alarm rang in my mind. Kill? "Ok, I won't kill you," Luther said calmly and got closer to Daisy who was shivering under his eyes. He grabbed her by the jaw, snarling, "Will you tell me where did you send them?"

"Wh-what? Do I have something in my face? I say, wiping my face using my hands. He held my hand to stop me from slapping myself. "I'm sorry, I got lost on how beautiful you are. You don't just look like an angel, you also act like one." he releases my hand and starts drinking his coffee. I mimic him and start to drink my coffee too. "You saved me last night and prepared food for me but I still don't know your name. I'm Salvatorre, Salvy for short. And you?" "I'm Lily. I thought your name is stronzo, I heard them call you Stronzo."

"I’m not going there." Daisy sat on the couch in a half-lying position, looking at her friend and flatmate Ashley, who was correcting her lipstick in the living room mirror. "Daisy, I'm not going to listen to your excuses today, It's my birthday and you're coming with me." Daisy got quiet after hearing Ashley's words. When Ashley found Daisy still not moving, she dragged her towards the closet and pulled out some dresses to check which one suited her, After going through so many dresses she chose a small black dress and put it in front of Daisy.

Just then, Lily emerged from her room, her countenance changed immediately when she set her eyes on Dariis. “Good morning, my lord.” she greeted her as she walked past him in the living room. Darius was shocked at the way she had reacted. “Are you on your way to the market?” Darius asked. Lily halted her steps at the door and turned back. “Yes, my lord.” she answered Amaya had also noticed the way she greeted Dariis but she kept it to herself. She thought it was better for her to remain silent. “Can I have some moment with you?” Darius asked her politely.
