I swallow and the lump in my throat grows. “Why have you been searching for me?” “Perhaps I could explain another time. Archer is fighting me for control back.” Lunar says. Larry's POV (...back to the region) Larry adjusted his fitted leather jacket and stormed out of his apartment in the safe house. He drove to the security check and poked out a strand of hair from his skin. He placed it on the transparent machine, that projected forward as the vehicle drove close to the invisible entrance. The clipping tool signaled a green light which beeped twice at the large entrance, while scanning the vehicle. Immediately it got to the vehicle's wheels, it stopped blinking. Larry drove into the invisible barricade and came out into a wide deserted area. After a long drive that took about 15 minutes, he entered into the mainlands of the region. The streets were less busy.

Larry mind linked the Gamma of the pack Tyson. ‘Tyson, come out quickly.’ Tyson who was still at the training grounds jogged to the front of the packhouse, he saw Larry standing there and hurried over. “Please take Luna inside and come help me here with something.” Tyson saw that it was tense there, so he did not ask questions and did as told. “Come, Luna, let’s go in,” he told Laura but she was just sitting there looking into space.

Larry read it, blinked, read it again, and then again, and frowned, trying to figure out if Leah had asked the question or if his old Army buddy was goofing around. After several rounds of typing then backspacing, he finally typed the only thing he could think of that wouldn’t land him in trouble and hit ‘send’. Then she responded with an apology and a smiley face, and he grinned. “She’s got a goofy sense of humor like me. Nice,” Larry observed. “So here we go,” he said, and he began to type.
