Mason stood up and went to get the door. "Larry??" They all stated in unison, definitely surprised to see the young werewolf. "How did you find us?" Larry dropped on the couch and sighed. "You may not believe this, but the moon goddess blessed me with the highest sense of smell right from my childhood and so, it was easy to locate you all" saying they were pleased to see Larry was an understatement. "What of Alpha Jaden?" Larry's face dropped as he stared at them all. He didn't know how to break the news to them.

Nath, Steel, Scottie, and other unknown students were all happy, treating the wine as their booze. Despite the happiness returning and the ambiance healing, Moon and Lunar continued their unfinished talk. Lunar cleaned his specs with his right hand and placed it back again as if teasing Moon. He pushed it more and became satisfied with his eyeglasses' position, as he put his hands inside the pocket of his pants. "From the time I saw you at the evaluation room, I sensed that it was you, Mister Moon Martin…" Lunar slowly uttered his piece. Cold and mysterious, with some underlying malice mixed with his words as he spoke.

Then the strangest thing happened, slowly the moon began to descend from the sky right before my eyes and as it did, it got small and smaller until finally, it came in through the open roof and went straight into the orb that was in the woman’s hand. The orb gave off a soft silvery glow at first before it exploded with a bright light that made me shield my eyes. The eye of the statue lit up too and then it spoke to me, “Javier, the first mate of the chosen one.” I still shielded my eyes until the light dimmed and I could see again, “Who the hell are you? What am I doing here?” “I am Lunar, the goddess of the moon and the mother of all werewolves, Lycans, and otherwise.”

Lily's POV. Larry's eyes were locked onto mine, his stare, a dangerous mix of mischief and coldness. His breath was warm against my neck, sending shivers down my spine. "Are you gonna tell him, Kitty, huh?" he repeated, his voice a low, seductive whisper and goosebumps graced my skin. What the fuck was he trying to do?! "Say something, little Lily." He urged and I tried to find my voice, my heart pounding in my chest. "Larry, this isn't right, you know how dangerous this is," I managed to say, my words barely more than a whisper.

It was a text message from Larry. "I'll be back tonight." His text message was like a tiny spark that somehow burned the tips of my fingers. I looked at Nora and tried to keep my voice from shaking. "He'll be back. He said he's coming home tonight." Nora was so happy that she jumped for joy. It had been six years, and this was the first time that Larry ever said that he would be home to celebrate Nora's birthday. At night, I made a beautiful rack of venison ribs, blueberry croissants, and got Larry's favorite red wine. Nora even made sure to finish all of her homework ahead of time.

I hope you are here with what I need not just chitchats," I said as I walked toward my throne "Yes sire I've been able to gather information," he said bowing again "I caught one of their spies lurking around, and with endless torture, he was able to give at least the information we needed " "From the information gathered Mark is the the alpha of Sliver Moon Park and Carmen is the Luna, from what I'm seeing you being the alpha is also part of their plan and I'm afraid they got something bigger coming " Cold shiver down my spine with the information I just got, an enemy was right under my nose he even helped me get the throne.

I said, then turned back to my plate to eat. “That’s right…Lunar Lake is on your property. That’s the watering hole for the wolves. You might want to stay clear of that part of the property.” Sherry bought out more fish and placed it in front of us, but I just stared at the basket. “It’s an all-you-can-eat fish fry,” Tyler said as he took two pieces of fish from the basket and placed them on his plate.

Her hazel eyes sparkled, sling tucked in her belt, optimism a shield against the hall’s tension. She hummed softly, calming the kids, but her fingers fidgeted, fear of the eclipse buried deep.
