Lycan King's Mate Mga Nobela at Kwento

He chuckled, “I’m Thane Valtor, the Lycan King, your mother’s mate.” My jaw dropped to the ground as I stared at him. Holy fucking fuck!

I obeyed without hesitation. He studied me for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with a slight nod, he turned to his warriors and ordered, “Leave us.” The warriors exchanged glances but obeyed without question, filing out of the room until we were alone. The silence that followed was heavy, charged with unspoken tension. The Lycan King leaned forward, his gaze never leaving mine. “You are my mate,” he said bluntly, his words hitting me like a physical blow. “I am not going to deny that. But I want you to keep it a secret. For now. Is that clear?”

' I say and think about it. ‘I never had one true mate before. The last King chose his mate, and the same did the one before him. And the last Lycan king rejected our mate because she was a servant girl, a low-ranked Omega. I tried to stop him, tell him it did not matter who she was but he didn’t listen.” Lucian says. “You mean the king my dad is ascendant from?’ I ask him. ‘Yes, I also tried to hold him back when he went to kill his daughter. I caught him with everything. But in the end, we will do what the human part of us demands.’ Lucian says.

Then I looked at her with deadly coldness before speaking in a serious voice that everyone heard clearly "I, Alexander Morganth, King of the Lycans..." I paused for a few short seconds before continuing "I reject you as my mate, Maria."

he says. “Do about what?” I ask, knowing exactly what he means. One of the qualifying factors in becoming Lycan King is to have a mate, but not just any mate, a strong and viable mate. “The law states that an Alpha, or any Lycan, who takes up the title and power of King must have a mate of equal or higher status,” Elder Johnson interrupts, finally speaking. Elder Mann has never gone against my word, and with their little exchange earlier, I knew he still didn’t want to oppose me.

He should be the one leading the run. 'King is an ancient Lycan and I think mate's father and the rest understood it.' Pi explained. We were in the clearing when I noticed other Lycans waiting for us. "Awwooooooooooo......" King howled again, this time it was very long. Telling everyone to celebrate with him for finally having his mate beside him. I was very happy thinking he wanted me and Pi. It made me feel secure now that he was introducing me to the palace as his.

Instead, he seemed completely unconcerned. He stood up and came over to me and put his hands on my shoulders. "Son, listen to me. One of the requirements of being a Lycan king is to have a mate," he explained. "Malory is a suitable match for you, she's one of us." I shook my head, unable to believe what I was hearing. "But I already have Clarissa," I snapped. "I love her." "Clarissa is not one of us," my father said firmly. "She can never be your mate."

"I-why does he want to do that? I thought that was for mates?" Alex swallowed, his thick throat working down what looked like a lump of fear. "It is, Jane. But for those that don't have mates, or don't want their mate, you can mark anyone. He wants to mark you to become his queen, which tells us he is a Lycan King. He rules over other lycans." Jane hated the sound of all of that. "What are we going to do?" Alex cleared his throat. "We're going to do what we planned. We're going to ask your aunt about anything in your family tree, and then we're going to protect you at all costs."

“I hate a mate, Allister. You know this.” Allister gave me a menacing look and I knew then I had made a mistake. He stood up and got into my face. Not putting his hands on me unlike usual. “That pathetic mutt is not your mate, Seraphina. I am. You are to be my Queen. I am the Lycan King and what I say supersedes any alpha.” This couldn’t be happening. Lycans were in fairy tales. They weren’t real. Yes in fairy tales they had the power to make the decision to mark whom ever they wanted. Even those who were marked. But they had to have good reason in order for the mark to take.

I tried my best to keep my eyes off him, but the intoxicating scent of him kept pulling me back unconsciously. “I suspect he’s our mate, Ellie, but isn’t it uncommon to have a second chance mate this quick?” my wolf, Ru, asked, but I shut her out quickly. I was wondering the same thing before she spoke, and I needed to know what that meant for me, and my future, being the Lycan King’s mate, but I couldn’t dare ask. The Lycan King was not Vito, they were two different wolves with different authorities, and if the rumors I’d heard about the king were true, then he was very strict, merciless, and straight-up evil.
