Lycan King's Mate Novels & Stories

Someone to pass on the coveted title to, someone that would be deserving of the entire European kingdom, and someone nobody would dare defy. When I was born, everyone rejoiced. I was everything and more that they had dreamed of, which is why at a young age, the title of Lycan King was passed on to me even before I could find my mate, my Queen, which was far from tradition and rules, but my father, the former King, was always known to challenge such things. Everyone believed I was going to find my other half with no problem. I was their definition of perfection and because of that, they strongly believed that the Moon Goddess would give me someone that would also be worthy to stand by my side

Lucas was drawing in and out long, audible breaths, his temper was slowly climbing up to reach the sky. Lucas tilted his head and said, squint-eyed, "So, Lycan King Gian gave you the permission to organize this Mate Matching Ceremony of yours!" To this, Owen had a big, beaming smile on his face and he said with a chuckle, "Ofcourse! It's not difficult to take permission from the Lycan King as it is to have your permission, Lucas!"

The King of the Lycans, who was currently laying draped in the finest silk, his partner from last night still asleep beside him. Darach King, the only beast who doesn't care about his mate or kingdom. He's their Alpha King but they called him 'Mad King' and indeed he was madder than any other living Lycan. Darach was as old as the dirt and living so long without a mate had pushed him towards madness.

This explained his cold neutrality. “You believe the King is too emotionally invested in this farce to see the danger,” I whispered, realizing the depth of the power structure. “The King is Fated,” Rhys stated, his expression chillingly fanatic. “But he is also human, and prone to weakness. I, however, am a Lycan devoted entirely to order. My loyalty is to the preservation of power, the continuity of the Lycan line, and the defeat of the Human Hunters. If you, Esmeralda, cause even a ripple of doubt in the King’s judgment, if you attempt to use that Mate Bond to influence him, or if you simply fail in your assigned role—”

“No.” “You can’t keep running from what we are.” “I already told you I don’t accept it.” “But you won’t reject it either,” he said. “Deep down, you actually want it.” “No!” “Yes,” he said. “And you can’t keep lying to yourself.” He pulled away and left the bathroom. I stayed there for a moment, leaning against the sink, suddenly feeling overwhelmed. I had kept a big secret from my family. For a week, I hadn’t told them I had found my mate—and that mate was… the king! The lycan king! Would they even accept that?

No one will touch her. “Prepare the warriors quietly, If they dare cross the line... the ground will run red” Luca bowed silently and left. * Moonlight Pack — George’s House * George stood by the mirror, adjusting his collar, jaw tight and rage simmering within him “Ryder’s claim...” he spat. “As if she’s worth his notice” Amy stood nervously behind him. “George... you can’t challenge him. He’s the Lycan King, you would lose everything"

Why save me when he wanted to pull out this card on me as soon as I woke up? “I, Kael Draven, Lycan Prince of the Obsidian Throne, reject you, Maya Blackthorn, as my mate, now and for eternity.” The combination of my name on his lips, followed by my surname, was a gut punch of the worst betrayal. “I, Maya Blackthorn, accept your rejection.”

"Fight her! I'm coming!" He leaped into the air, reaching out his hand to grab mine. The Shadow Queen snarled, raising both of my hands to blast Kaelen away with a massive wave of dark magic. I fought back with all my soul, pulling against her control. The purple fire around my hands flickered wildly, turning gold, then purple, then gold again. "Kaelen... now!" I choked out with my real voice, my brown eyes flashing back for a single second. Kaelen grabbed my wrist, and the moment his skin touched mine, the golden Mating Claim on my neck flared like a mini sun. The sacred power of the Lycan King hit the Shadow Queen's dark magic like ice water on hot iron.

This is definitely the most correct decision you have ever made. "Are you all crazy?" My father whispered angrily, "Do you think the Prince of Lyon will give up his partner?" Leon Logan is the one cursed by the witch, and only a mate can save him! Wherever we hid, the Prince of Lyons would send after us. Even the entire Moore family would be implicated! I ask you two women to think carefully about the consequences before deciding!"

I was placed on a bed and the man turned his back on me and started walking away. I thought he was going to close the door before coming back to me. I wasn't a fool. I knew why I was here. After hearing the man I didn't get to see refer to him as your majesty, I knew I was doomed. I was a slave to the notorious mateless Lycan King. Rumour has it that he's ruthless and a womaniser. He takes female wolves or Lycans as his sex slaves and discards them when he's bored.
