I said, looking into his eyes, trying to figure out what he was feeling. “She's okay,” he said, his voice ringing with the same monotonous tone it always did. We approached his aunt, a woman with an impressive figure. She was so big that she took up two of the seats at once. She was a direct contrast to Lillian who was so small. She waved warmly at Rodney and pinched his cheek playfully, “have you missed my pancakes, Rodney?” Rodney stepped back, “no.” But Mabel seemed accustomed to Rodney's aloofness and did not appear bothered by it. She instead turned to me and said, “like I told my sister and the doctor, I can only stay till the end of the week.”

The drone zoomed in on her face, and I almost wanted to be absorbed by the screen so I could teleport and sneak up on her for a death attack. But such things didn't exist. The red-haired elder came forward this time. He was considered the quietest, but also the strongest. Even against Elder Bane, who was the spokesperson most of the time. He released his pheromones, and Mabel went on her knees immediately. The rules were simple. Don't give up until the Elder considers you good enough to advance. Mabel's hands rested on the sand, and she even coughed up blood. It was just the beginning, and she was this weak. Even weaker than Beaumont. No doubt she was getting eliminated this time.

I questioned with caution; not too sure if her visit's a friendly one or not. "I have great news!" She sang, skipping down the halls- so I guess the visit's a friendly one. "I'm going to get changed real quick; be right back," Mabel told me and I nodded for her to go. Mabel turned back and headed down the hall to her room. I looked over at Cecille, who looked happy to see Mabel leaving before she could reach us. They don't get along much; if you haven't already guessed. Mabel's a sweet, shy girl, who doesn't like trouble. Her job in the pack to get information on everyone. Even though she's a computer geek who wears glasses when she reads, she's actually really pretty. Cecille on the other h

Only your mate can soothe your heat when you’re a marked she-wolf. The complicated part though is that while Azalea has a mark, she does not smell like a marked she-wolf. She still smells unmarked and unmated. Since she hasn’t woken up, we don’t know whether this is a good thing or not. She has a mark, but she might not be bound to the person who put it there. We just have to wait for her to get up before we can find out. “My favourite twins in the world!” Mable beamed when we walked in. She runs the place for my parents.

She couldn't allow that to happen. Mabel decided she would first have to destroy Joan and take away her shares, which should grab Asher's attention. Then she would start a bidding war between uncle and nephew. She wonders who would win. It would also serve her schemes well. Suck Hargreaves Corporation dry, then sell it to the highest bidder. It would serve her well indeed. Mabel picks up her phone and dials the number of her favorite agent. A writer for the Dailypost, a local cyber and print media. She is naught but a gossip peddler, but her writings garner a lot of attention. She would be perfect for the job.

After putting in so much effort to make food for Armstrong, Mabel packed it and dressed up beautifully before leaving for his house. She hired a cab to take her to the house. When she arrived at his house, Mabel stood outside Armstrong's gate staring at the tall building inside it in awe. It looked just like a palace, as beautiful as prince Bastian's. For a second, Mabel wondered if she was at the wrong address. She could not believe that someone would choose to stay in such a big house alone.

In the glow of the fire, amidst the soft murmurs of contentment, Mabel realized that sometimes, unexpected friendships and gatherings had the power to bring about beautiful changes, weaving a tapestry of warmth and joy that enveloped them all. ******************* As the weeks passed, Mabel noticed a beautiful transformation within the family dynamics. The bond that had blossomed during the picnic and subsequent gatherings had woven a tapestry of closeness among them all. Jack's initial reluctance to engage in more family activities had faded away, replaced by a genuine eagerness to spend time together. One sunny Saturday, Mabel received a call from Ava, her voice tinged with excitement. " Ma

Fallon Maebelle Yarrows, the daughter of Alpha Yarrows of Diamond Ridge in Veiled Valley, stirs her bland, unsugared tea until it spills over the rim of the delicate, pale floral pink teacup I find myself slightly territorial over. It’s my favorite set, and her spoon clinking against the fine porcelain has my left eye twitching against my will, but I have a duty, and that duty is playing nice with fellow princesses, even if they’re grossly beneath my station and absolutely ridiculous, like Maebelle.

What did HE mean when he said that, because he hadn't been trying too hard to make me obey. Not yet at least. Besides, right now the extra hours couldn't hurt. I needed every cent I could get if I was going to have even the hopes of buying back my freedom and independence. "Well, good morning, Sara. It's a rare day when I get to see you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed," laughed Mabel good-naturedly as she greeted me when I walked in. Mable was a middle-aged, heavy-set woman with dark curly hair with streaks of gray and warm brown eyes. She also made the best milkshakes in the city, at least in my biased opinion.

I went online to gather as much information as I could about this place and I found out that it was one of the biggest establishments with many branches in the Moonlit Howler’s pack, Mabel’s original pack before she married me. Locating where this particular branch was wouldn’t be difficult from the way Mabel described it. It was on the 24th street, about a mile away by foot from the Smith’s main residence. Hopefully, things wouldn’t have changed much since that time. It was now certain that I couldn’t be so far away, I needed to be closer to that place so it would be easier to find witnesses and possibly gather more evidence. I was headed to the Moonlit Howler’s pack in a jiffy, after ensur
