In front of the grand and opulent Lloyd residence, a graceful woman was throwing snowballs in the yard with a six-year-old girl. The woman's soft voice could be heard from time to time. "Be careful. Alice asks as she holds the tray in her hands to offer them a muffin. She looks askance at me and then she smiles at the Andersons. Major Anderson takes a step forward to grab a muffin, but at that moment Wendy comes in running, slaps Alice and knocks the tray over from her hands, scattering all the muffins to the floor. “The slut! I said, looking into his eyes, trying to figure out what he was feeling. “She's okay,” he said, his voice ringing with the same monotonous tone it always did. We approached his aunt, a woman with an impressive figure. She was so big that she took up two of the seats at once. She was a direct contrast to Lillian who was so small. She waved warmly at Rodney and pinched his cheek playfully, “have you missed my pancakes, Rodney?” Rodney stepped back, “no.” But Mabel seemed accustomed to Rodney's aloofness and did not appear bothered by it. She instead turned to me and said, “like I told my sister and the doctor, I can only stay till the end of the week.”
