An hour later, we board the private plane owned by the Magnus Group.
“Did Mr. Magnus really lend us this?” I look around the spacious and equally luxurious plane. The Blackwoods were rich and owned a plane too, but it surely stood nowhere near the grandeur of this one. I have never seen something like this. It’s not just money, you see; it’s a glimpse of a whole new world. Something I didn’t even know existed.
I look back at Griffin, who surprisingly seems to be much more at ease than me.
In fact, now that I look at him a bit more carefully, he almost seems too used to it, as if this isn’t the first time, and not going to be the last one either.
