PATIENT ZERO -The lone survivor
The massive cargo plane bounced fifty feet back into the air, the heavy shock absorbers screaming as they bottomed out.
"Keep the nose up!" Daniel roared, wrestling the yoke as the plane plummeted back down.
SMASH.
The front nose gear hit the dirt. The tires instantly blew out with the sound of cannon fire, shredded by the rough, uneven terrain. The heavy metal rims dug deep into the earth, throwing up massive rooster tails of dirt and dry grass.
The plane was on the ground, but it was tearing across the savanna at over a hundred miles an hour, heading directly toward the dense, marshy edge of Lake Magadi.
